Stop in for a cup of coffee

I’ll see if I can find a link, but there was a company selling paint for gun sights that was truly fluorescent. Even had some colors in glow in the dark.
Right. I found some posts where guys used the Testors floursesent paints on the pistol sights.
I don't need or want a luminescent gage needle.
Just to lightly touch up the ones on the car.

We get them here... Expecially around 4th of July, they seem to peak...
Same here. maybe a little later,
But I think they are mostly limited to the eastern half of the country.
You're still this side of the Mississippi!

We have been instructed to work from home for at least the rest of the month.

Ok with me...no commute and closer to the cold beer in the fridge when the day is over.

So i had the instrument cluster out of my power wagon. The face had a slight warp in it and needle would hang up. I had it on bench where i worked and when i went to go find something to slide needle up a mm, boss got in there with his fat fingers and broke it off. Dipshit move.
I found a tiny vacuum elbow and a piece of spray can noodle fixed it right up. Years later its still bright red.

So into happier conversations.

I bought a brand new Trans cooler , universal at the swap meet. It came with 5/8 lines. Yes 5/8ths. Has a handful of reducers to reduce it down to the 3/8th to go into the trans. Will having that big of a line over factory cause any issues? I mean obviously it’ll increase fluid capacity and volume. But I was wondering if it’d affect the pressure anywhere

The difference in area of the lines is significant... 3/8 line is .110 square inches and 5/8 line is .307 square inches, which is 2.77 times the area of the 3/8 line... This will cause a pressure drop and slow the fluid down when passing through the larger 5/8 tubes....

This will cause a sudden expansion and then a sudden contraction which will reduce the fluid flow on both sides...

I would get one with a 3/8 line...

I thought about getting a reducer at the cooler and just running 3/8th line all the way to the trans. I only gave 10-15 bucks for it at the swap meet new.

You will still have the sudden expansion and contraction through the 5/8 lines in the cooler...

Get a 3/8 cooler....

Same time around here. Also the mayflies,or fish flies.
When i was a kid,the streets would be a couple inches deep with them. Stunk up the place for a week or so. Not so much now, river isnt as healthy as it was 40 years ago.

I stocked up on Lysol spray. Their commercial said to spray on things you touch the most. FYI, that **** burns!

That reminds me of when I was in high school... My brother and I hung around with 3 brothers that lived one block over from us... They got us into snow mobiling... We weer snow mobiling one day and we had to stop to gas up... as we finished filling our sleds with gas, we went to a retention area that is used for if there is a heavy downpour to prevent flooding, which were usually dry... So we are buzzing around the retention area waiting for everyone to get gassed up and the older brother, Jim, comes to join us racing around the retention area...

He suddenly jumps off his snowmobile unzips it and starts shoving snow down the front of his pants... It turned out that he didn't snap the gas cap on his snow mobile all the way and gas sloshed out while we were racing around the retention area... It soaked through the front of the snowmobile pants all the way to his 'skin'... Freakin' halarious...

I guess getting gas on the tip of your junk really stings....

You will still have the sudden expansion and contraction through the 5/8 lines in the cooler...

Get a 3/8 cooler....
Only sort of.

It is known as a “wide spot in the line” where fluid flow slows. Fluids are not compressible and the pressure won’t drop or increase in a closed system...only flow rate is affected.

from South Africa is going home at parents request as a result of corona virus fears. She was going to be here 6 months longer but not any longer. They are coming up from Bellevue this weekend, she wants to say goodbye. They are a great couple, have hope that they will be together sometime down the line.

I worked on my lift today, got all airlines finished, put ramps on, built one of the dollies for rolling it around. The Bendpak instructions did not include how to assemble the dollies so I went to the internet : ) Saw a wrong and a right way to do it, won't be able to test the dollies until I have power hooked up but I'm pretty sure I have it right. Here's a couple pics, can hardly wait for the electrician to wire it up, can't go any further with cable adjustments/tensioning/testing until I have juice. Also still need to come up with water trap air compressor, my current one only has a regulator, no trap and without trap, warranty voided.

Beautiful shop

Yeah, but cruise tickets will be cheap for a while...

That could be. Seattle Cruise Lines here cancelled their next 2 cruises but they will be back at it. For me, never liked cruises, not enough free time, too many people and bad food. Also, lots of horror stories ranging from medical emergencies, weather conditions, illnesses. I will say I was surprised when I flew on Saturday, SEATAC airport was a ghost town, we had a Delta flight to Denver that was very reasonable (like 46 dollars) I asked about an upgrade and was told a first class ticket would be 1100 dollars each! What happened to supply and demand there?

Not hard to find, just put a water trap/filter from the compressor to the lift.

I had 20 alders that were falling on my neighbors fence taken down awhile back, ran an ad and finally have a buyer. Guy has been out with son twice now to buzz up the wood, first time drove in a newer Dodge truck, then today an 82. Told him I liked the Mopar, and I mentioned I had a project Duster in a body shop. He tells me he has a 72 318 Duster, nice!

If she eventually marries your son and moves here, she can identify as "African American"....
