Stop in for a cup of coffee

Got the new gas tank in the Duster tonight...got the sending unit reading pretty close or close enough. Got tires for the back of it so off in the morning to get them mounted...

Funny thing, but we and the wife have been watching and studying the panic buying. We usually keep a minimum of 3 months stock on most stuff but are now are looking to buy inventory to maintain that stock off-cycle with what the masses are doing.

They bought out all the TP...but it will be be back in a couple of weeks when they don’t need it, and then we will replenish our normal inventory.

Same approach with all other staples. They are buying perishables, we are buying canned goods...and vice-versa.

I am not overloading inventory of stuff, just maintaining normal levels. Timing is the only thing we are changing.

It's crazy out there...no confirmed cases in my area but, people act like the sky is falling. They closed all the schools in the state until the 30th and maybe longer...My son is just worried about seeing his girlfriend...lol...young love...lol

Youngsters have their own set of priorities...and patience does not usually count among them!

Even her. Its Pandemonium in the city stores.
Remembered as the great asswipe shortage of 2020...
My concern is us normal users not having any to buy in a couple weeks when we run out.
Freezer has a bunch of food in it. We wont starve.

guess world of wheels is cancelled too. So i dont get to go welcome steve darnell to wpg.

I have shrunk out of a whole lot of clothes that can be cut up into asswipes and keep us in inventory for at least a year!

Only if I could go back knowing what I know now. Being young and dumb once was enough.

Great memories, but I don’t feel the need to repeat the mistakes of the past.
Yes but all those mistakes of the past is why you know what you know now...

See, that is the kind of bullshit speculation publically posted that fuels the panic.

There is absolutely no reason that the mail would stop. Mail carriers aren’t at risk from the packages and letters that they carry and they interact very little with people on their routes.

They are more at risk of exposure stopping at a gas station on their way home from work and pressing the buttons on the pump that dozens of other people had that day.

Oh yeah, while the rodents were scouring the store for snacks and stuff...she scored 5 lbs of filet mignon at 80% off. The store had and advertised special and it was one of the things she went in for.

The rest of the crowd was hunting bags of cheese doodles and she was buying up a killer deal on an expensive meat for the freezer.

Perspective is everything.

The meat department was pretty much cleaned out at my go to market. I have a filet mignon roast in the freezer :D. Me n the cat are pretty well set for a few weeks if necessary.

L I B  Just since this morning's investigation the King of the West Sprints are OFF the Opening Night schedule at KCRP. World of Outlaws Sprints show here has been postponed/cancelled :BangHead:

Our grocery looks pretty ransacked... But already signs of recovery. Fresh load of bananas, avocado since yesterday. Of course NO TP, No water, not one normal stick of butter...

What to do today. Was gonna take trash to the dump, but it’s even closed now. So I guess it’s stay inside and watch Motortrend all day while the wife works

Hey Kids.
Got a guest this morning. Will probably take him for a walk and then he can hang out back while I put in some turnip seeds and row covers. Tiny planting space. Won't take long.
Need to get some more posters up - he's somebody's house dog - just got to find who somebody is..
