Maybe some heavy paper on both sides - somehting like rosin paper?
This fell to pieces shortly after I got the car to NJ. Looks like I've got most of the pieces.

James said the original backing is some sort of asbestos board. Best thing to do with it IMO is put it back. I can seal any loose edges and break lines.
You should check out that assemblly book even though I was bitching aboutthe quality. Can always borrow mine if you don't want to buy a copy. Shows almost where everything goes. Or should I write was supposed to go.

painted inside if frame behind gas tank. So its at least covered so i can install gas tank. Tomorrow. Also slathered inside of left fender so its ready to go on as well.
Gave right fender a good pull with a ratchet load binder and it matches driver side for wheel clearance now.
something else a drive on hoist is great for.
Just need to work out some dents. Going to call it a day i think.

Got some parts ordered. A pump, plugs, cap, rotor and plug wires.
Pulled the Belvedere over in front of the work bay, so I can work on it tomorrow...Only 55 Deg today...70 Deg tomorrow....I know..I know Wawawawa.

Yup. Will take them into town tomorrow to compare with stock batteries. Maybe a little foil will fill the gap.

I have a 4 probe digital for my smoker. It could work at Corona parties. LOL
I gots one. But the Mo Fo no work anymore........Hey...I have an Automotive digital temp sensor...Maybe I can use that ???
