Guy at work bought a Rustang couple weeks ago. ‘O3 I think.
But he redeemed himself when he got this a couple days ago.

Finally getting some rain out of this cold dreary mess. I better make an adult beverage store run before the fun stuff gets here. Looks like it right off the beach.

A few new ones this evening. I’m learning a lot about the old printing processes and why colors were what they were on these old images.

Before around 1920 there were really only 3 colors that could be used due to cost and availability. They were red, yellow and black. Blue was naturally derived and too expensive for magazine printing. The combination of those 3 left them limited to those colors plus oranges and browns.

After 1920, blue ink became available at a reasonable cost when the technology advanced. After that, the entire color wheel opened up and pretty much any hue could be printed. That’s why greens, purples and blues became so prevalent in magazine covers...they hadn’t been seen before.

Well I’ve been stood down. I will be back at work normally unless something huge kicks off.

your regular job is still going?
Yes. I work for the Department of Defense. We’re essential under the Executive order from the President. However! We’re supposed to learn tomorrow if we’re gonna telecommute starting tomorrow afternoon. Odds are that we will but they may still change their minds. We’re the one department that is fully set up to do it, yet they are so far being resistant to doing it

Was mowing down the hill now that I can get around the fallen trees. Neighbor walks onto my property, keeps his distance at least and tells me his son may have Covid 19 and he had a fever and sore throat. Okay, please get back on your property, I guess he was more comfortable walking towards me than I was.
