If everybody would follow the guidelines, this would go away quickly. Many are blatantly ignoring the requests to self-isolate.i think we are in the final week of the worst of this.

Yo TJ, (Frank) we are above freezing today and likely all week. The Melt has been real even and the flood situation is getting better everyday. We are still sandbagging and only need right at 400,000 more sandbags! With school out and the whole distancing thing going on our sand bag assembly line is super slow. On plus side maybe the Red won’t do her normal flood thing as a result of our even thaw this year? Keeping our fingers crossed.
Those were pretty cars.
You and a hell of a lot of other people. When was it supposed to happen?ugh, fighting to get my money back, my Florida vacation is cancelled. This will be fun.
Won't get money back. You might get a credit for future travel......ugh, fighting to get my money back, my Florida vacation is cancelled. This will be fun.
April 25th. But the beaches we were going to are closed until May 1You and a hell of a lot of other people. When was it supposed to happen?
Oh I will. I have the travel insurance, I already spoke with them, if the property owner wont refund my money, the insurance will cover it.Won't get money back. You might get a credit for future travel......

So, ....you're really not 'fighting' for it. Just gotta go through the process. Lot of people not so lucky. I'm sure some of them will eventually get some back as legalities get tossed around over the next couple YEARSif the property owner wont refund my money, the insurance will cover it.
I have no idea!Where do they come up with 20,000 tons of sand for this yearly emergency?
I have no idea!
Probably as much as possible gets recovered and back in a store pile for next year. And where do those sand bags go when the emergency has passed?
