The rock farm I worked and the one across the river from us were really good for flood control issues in the valley. We mined the river. The material that the occasional flows brought down from the high country was trapped in the low spots we created.
yeah, probably a better way to put it. Went to cancel friday, they told me they would allow me to reschedule at no additional charge. So I asked for the weekend to get dates figured out. Called back this morning, they wanted an additional 1500 bucks to move them. So now, I'm waiting for the manager to call back.

I wonder what they do with all the advance payments they get. I bet when a lot of these companies can't pay back they get busted for 'mismanagement of funds' or worse because the money is gone -somewhere...
I honestly think that is the entire problem. it may be years before we all get money back.

Using up my last vacation day. Was use it or lose it by end of month. Figures it's like the worst weather in weeks.Cold, raw, misty rain. If we got any of the snow they called for, it was gone before daybreak.

The cruise line is giving the option of a full refund or 125% future credit. I do want to reschedule for Spring 2021 but to be safe maybe I should take the cash refund.
Take the cash now while it still has value.
We rebooked for january 2021.
They gave us a substantial ship credit. So we wont be out of pocket for a single drink! And im going to try a little gambling too

I have notice prices going up here thinking the dollar is starting to get inflated.

Went grocery shopping this morning and I was there right at 8 when they opened, and there was a line up of people waiting to get in. I was able to pick up most things we needed but the store still had no TP!!!

same. but you should see the panic at work. its funnier than ****. It's like, people, we've already been designated as essential, you're working.
I just got the fuel pump and tune up parts for my pick up. I need to work on th outside but it's supposed to rain the next 4 days.
