Stop in for a cup of coffee

I'll do a screen shot of the city council meeting in a few min. . All online except for a few in council chambers. Everyone else is on their laptops. Pretty cool actually.

Well, if they are really your friend, you wouldn't 'visit' anyway. Other than to deliver supplies or help with needs that are permitted anyway...
I agree, but people are idiots. Kids out of school getting together on play dates, bored Moms having afternoon coffee get togethers, neighbors going with each other to the dog park to hang out with other people.

It’s kinda like why they have to put warning stickers on lawn mowers to tell people not to stick their fingers in it while it is running.

Work stuff was light today so I handled it all in just a couple hours and then went on a mission doing vintage magazine restoration/reworking. It was a cold rainy day anyway, so I pulled out some of the most challenging ones in the worst condition to restore and went at it.

All cool stuff Dave. I remember hanging out in the library reading Popular Mechanics like those.

Evening feeler gauges.

I took my taxes in today. I don't have to pay this year YAY!!!

pretty much broke even. My tax lady l stated "too bad you didn't have a baby, single moms really get back some cash"

Ok, I guess I am missing something in that. :realcrazy:

I would have liked to some money back but not having to pay works for me.

Yeah... it’s like 4K credit per kid. You don’t get 4K back, it just comes off your income level. So if you’re at the lower edge of your bracket, it can result in some big time money back IF you don’t already have your payroll taxes adjusted throughout the year for it.

And a child is a lifetime responsibility.

And how is that any different from what the whole state was supposed to be doing? Everything that those rules allows is the only stuff that is supposed to be open anyway- not just in those counties
I think the difference is a matter of regulatory law. My guess this order allows procedures for designated law enforcment agencies to take some sort of action.

I don't think there is enough law enforcement personnel to even do that on an individual basis. But,was on tonights news that they were going around in York today to places that are not on the list to stay open.

Agree. But if they don't have the orders and regs and procedures in place, no agency can do anything that would hold up in a court.

Heck no law would work if the majortiy of people disobeyed it!

Ugh... my wife kills me sometimes. All worried that we’ll run out of propane for the grill during this shut down. Not only did I have to say that’s unlikely as I have two, 50 pounders, but that we have 6 hay wagon loads of wood ive split all winter, we can cook just fine lol

As long as the electricity keeps going, I have 15 gallons of smoker pellets. Pizza, burgers, ribs, pulled pork, chicken, all in my freezer. Heck why not a smoked meatloaf or even a apple pie. Been there, done that.

My wife is a country girl, through and through but damn, sometimes I wonder.

Well, my allergies are still killing me and my sinuses are a wreck. I needed some distraction so I picked one of the worst magazine cover images in my files and focused on restoring it. Seemed to come out OK...
