Stop in for a cup of coffee

Man it is eerie as heck out in my area. Not a single car moving. Went back and checked my security cams, since 5pm yesterday until now, 12 hours. We’ve had 7 cars total. My road averages 65 cars an hour

Morning!
Oh,YA! Is just at the freezing point this morning. Supposed to go up to plus 5 and rain. Let it rain, will knock the snow down.

sketchy, that’s my middle name.
Had that diff to change, and needed to remove the connecting tie rod. Loosen nuts and leave socket on and rattle socket with air hammer. Worked like a charm.

So this evening I went out and went through the transmission for the Duster...Now I have done some sketchy **** in the garage before but.....using two..3/8 drive short extensions to press the spring retainer down in the direct drum is up towards the top...lol...good news is it's ready to go back in, just waiting for the torque converter to show up...

I use my harmonic balancer puller and a threaded rod.

Good Morning MOPAR Stay at Home coffee drinkers!!
Another day of home projects, but hey the old place is starting to look good again!!

Need to clean up shop today, maybe build my storage shelf. Have to come up with some decking for it. May go check my barnwood pile. On that note, im going to check for decking for the box floor on the fargo as well. The rafters in my barn have a big stack up there.

Speaking of decking yesterday, I bought 5 gallons of waterproof decking paint. Wow paint has gotten expensive!!

Man a lot of issues going on with MSD products lately. I know they are not made in USA anymore but geese seems like a lot of them lately.

You mean people talking about them on the forums or sending to you?

Good morning guys!

And this morning, I have a plan.

Distressed lumber look so good with a good 3 or 4 coats of Spar Var on it :D

Since the car is using an MSD box, to use a single terminal stud for the alternator feed. MSD power will connect there instead of the starter relay.
Both sides of the ammeter wiring will go through a grommet. Same as Chrysler shows in the assembly drawings for 60 amp and leece-neville. Period correct load reduction on the bulkhead connector! :)
just need to find a grommet and some other parts.

It was strange at the grocery store yesterday too. It was fairly busy but everybody was so quiet. No one talking and if so with very low voices. Like you described, eerie.

It's Thames Tuesday!

Fuel and Brake lines ran and I pull the carb out of the box last night
Storms and rain rolling threw today, most of my day will be in the house doing what I did last Tuesday :( counter tops, floors and deep clean bathroom.
Just another day in the life of memike.
Good morning. Looking out my shop window yesterday

Today is clear here. More rain tommorrow.
I'll drive or bike down to the garage today.
Need to make some measurements and might as well do some more cleaning under the dash.

Ordered new speaker for the car yesterday from that place in Minn. Nice people. Will even put the correct terminals on it so I don't need to guess which wire is which.

Just think about how many kids a child can be exposed to in one school day. Playgrounds, cafeterias, classrooms, sheesh. Most adults don't come in contact with that many folks in a normal work day.
