Stop in for a cup of coffee

Beat the dents out of the chevy headlight trim. It fits close enough. Will pull the headlight bucket and clean it up, fix the broken adjusters.

So i get a text from my buddy, one of his co-workers wants work done on his truck. No. Closed. CLOSED!
I told him the other day,and what my reasoning was.
Wife is dealing with the public,if she gets sick, i get sick. The f’in snowbirds are not taking this serious at all. Well, most are.
Businesses are instructed to report anyone disobeying the self isolation rule.

Back in the early '80's, doing a line of coke was like drinking a cup of coffee, no big deal. So I've heard :steering:

Probably smart choice not to, but Are you allowed to do business? As far as I know all car related stuff is still OK here even in the 'total lockdown' counties. Considered essential...

Got a job today. Guy dropped it off yesterday. Dropped the keys and left. I'll let it sit a while longer before I address it........

I can keep doing business. But getting parts means i need to go to town.
I dont want to be responsible for spreading the virus if i come in contact with someone carrying it.
Call it a vacation if you like, im taking a couple weeks off.

Well then moving right along, good to see you guys are doing okay. Headed to a work meeting, it will be quick, funny how your mind makes you suddenly want to do things just because you can't. I don't need anything from the supermarket and it's a wet day outside anyway. I miss my coworkers so it will be good to see them.

I rarely go out for Parts. I have at least three vendors that deliver to me. I have 30 day charge accounts with all of them....

Nuthin' on CL I can't live without this morning .
Run across a neat little Willy's pickup the other day in Phx.
2wd '49 had a BowTie in it of course.
Somebody must have braved the Cerveza virus and grabbed it up. :BangHead:

The dealership that my older son works at informed him that he's laid off this past Sunday and he told me that the whole dealership is closed now until the Kung Flu is done...

he broke his impact wrench for work and borrowed my home one, when he tried to get it last night, they were locked up tight....

So far, I am still working. Unless they close them down and ban travel, I can always get to my tools. Although, there isn't much there, that I don't have better at home. Normal access is by card reader, but even if they turned that off so everyone can't get in, I have a key.

I just clicked on the COVID-19 tab on weather.com and it shows a map with how many cases are in my area of my state... Good to know that info...

You guys should try it to see how close it is to you...

Dont forget to do decon. I handle this similar to what I learned for hazmat. Think of it as hot, warm and cold zone. Its tough to be 100%, but generally out in public is hot zone. Front of property and garage is warm. And house is cold. So try not to bring the nasties in. Although we have been doconning groceries in kitchen. In the case of your garage. I would have a table set up near the door with sanitizer spray or wipes. If we just ordered something. Assume the inner content of anything not sealed was handled in last couple days and is still ‘hot’. I take it in the garage and unbox it. Throw the box aside-not handling it any more for a few days. Then wipe down the items I got. Let dry before farther handling. Go wash hands...

Hey @MOPARMITCH

I saw this on the corona virus live feed and thought of you... FYI... Hopefully your GF & her family are not close to any of the sick...

I think that the cable companies should give us all free cable with movie and Playboy channels to help us stay inside during the mandatory stay at home period... :D

Hell, if they did that all the time, I would never leave the house.... :p

GIggity, giggity....

She is in Viet Nam. I see they only have 123 cases there, and report no deaths. But who really knows...It is a Communist Country still. No cases in the South, where our house is. I also learned that the Virus does not like Hot and Humid conditions. It is just that, most of the time in VN. Also they closed borders way back in January......
