So, two or three weeks ago, My wife got real sick, BUT she had diarrhea . So we dismissed the virus as being the cause. Well, as it comes out, we both had the corona virus, got tested yesterday, and I still have it, BUT it is not really affecting my health....mild cough, small fever, not much else. I bet the majority of the world has this and has no idea they do. We are fine, no lasting issues, even my 85 yo mother in law must have had it as well, a cough, she lives with us, and she is better as well.....SO don't unduly worry about this please..

She is in Viet Nam. I see they only have 123 cases there, and report no deaths. But who really knows...It is a Communist Country still. No cases in the South, where our house is. I also learned that the Virus does not like Hot and Humid conditions. It is just that, most of the time in VN. Also they closed borders way back in January......

I am no Doctor, but I was told this will present in most as the flu. They are still figuring it out....
I more then likely contracted it at the Fair in Indio at the beginning of the month...

I was told the main reason there are not more confirmed cases in the US is lack of testing....

Good to hear that it didn't get you worse than that. I think they are purposely not telling much specific details what the health of the ones who get it bad and those who die from it. Probably many are already compromised. Too many people would use that info to say it is safe for them and would get sloppy and spread it to others as some younger folks have done in the case of Spring break. Hopefully all this distancing saves some people from the other flues as well. Although, I think we are already past most of that for this season.
 
Man! This wind is crazy! Was moving some stuff outside,then decided to look at my lumber supply. I have more than enough to do the truck bed floor. Huge stack of 1” lumber.

Sorry to hear you all got it, but glad its not so severe in any of you. Hopefully it will make your body more likely to fight it off quickly in the future.

Actually heard the lady at the press conference yesterday evening say something close to that. She said (so far) the statistics indicate no deaths under 15 with 1 exception, and most deaths in xyz countries have been those compromised. BUT she went on to say that the restrictions are needed limit those who could get it , especially those older and with other issues. Not enough data yet remains an issue. Even the hope that it won't survive as well in hot climates is not proven. These things morph.

Just spoke with a person Vacuum Orna-metal. My parts are partially through the plating process and one person is working on them. Detailing will be delayed as that person has been sick. Also they are mostly shut as of today. Only a couple people allowed to work. One in the office and one in the back. Still better than I feared.
 
Cleaning shop. Damn hoarders.
Wheel bearing hubs, i think i carried out 10. 6 brake rotors and a few sets of worn out brake pads. The old gas tank from the fargo. It cant be saved.

So its finally melting. Water running in under shop door as usual. Oh well, it eventually makes its way to floor drain. Guess this evening i should check my son’s basement.
