Our provincial premier was talking about how serious this is, he broke down a little. I wouldnt want to be in his shoes right now.
They are working on helping seniors that are basically cut off from the outside world.

i try to keep in contact with a few of my older friends, regular check-ins.
Mom, i call and check in and my wife drops of a bottle-um groceries every few days...

My mom is 93 and I call her every day or two. She can leave her room and walk the halls but that's all. Not even dinner in the lunchroom.
 
Mom is 85 in her own house, but hasnt been out since early march.
She likes to get out once a week. gave up driving last fall.
 
So update on Old Biker prank. My poor guy sent me a pix from HD dealer where he bought the bike this weekend. I guess he went up and melted down on them. They found multiple issues wrong with new bike, loose nuts fittings etc etc so all in all it has turned out for the best! I came clean on oil leak prank! While he was a bit not happy with me he was thrilled it forced service dept to go over new bike with fine tooth comb! LMAO! Full disclosure he is part of my senior staff team, we are all combat vets and specifically we are all infantry. To say we know how to rent space in each other’s head is an understatement! I never intended to just hire Vets but I somehow ended up with a bunch of us. We seem to talk the same language and can go out in parking lot and roll around in the dirt come back in and never bear a grudge! He is a great guy but I see four flat tires in my future at some point! We will laugh about this for years!

For the obvious reason (COVID-19 pandemic) our 36th Annual Mopars In The Park ALL-MOPAR Car Show and Swap Meet is CANCELLED. We do not want to endanger any of our wonderful MOPAR family. We will be sending refunds to those that registered online or whose checks are already deposited. Any checks we are holding will be either returned or destroyed. We WILL get right to work on the event for 2021!!
 
Yep just got the word on MITP, super bummed. On plus side it was really crowding me, as my goal was to have the Demon there this year. Still sucks tho. Maybe a mid west FABO get together of some type? Cancelling a National show the size of that one could not have been an easy decision.
 
I’m afraid there won’t be many car cruise/ shows this yr. So I’m driving my 72 Fury to work tomorrow and maybe the other ones each Fri.
 
Our annual show here in town is cancelled too.
There is a swap meet / show and shine in the works. If they dont line up a venue, i may offer up my back yard. 6 acres should be enough...
 
May swap meet in wpg is cancelled too. HULK SAD!!
 
Did my first "curbside pickup" of a Dewalt water trap at Tractor Supply Store today, it was easy except I had to call it in, web page didn't allow the option but they made it happen. Will need a short 4 foot line to interconnect water trap to lift. Weekend project.

I came in and never said a word, he has been showing it to everybody and so I noticed he had moved the bike over a spot, trying to ensure it was not his bike leaving the puddle of oil under it. Yep, I went and did it again. I then baited one of my maint men to having the guy show him his new bike. The proud owner is losing his mind as we speak! New bike less than twenty miles on it blah blah blah. He is having a total melt down. My moral dilemma is do I let him stress all night or confess before he goes home!

Like that pastor that held services against the limit on how many people can be in one place at a time order, then caught the Covid 19 virus and died from it... He took his chance and lost..

I was just logging on to post, but you beat me to it. To bad, great show.
 
It took me 9 hours over 2 days to complete this image with my vision all fubar. It was a serious strain to do, and it was giving me severe eye strain headaches along the way forcing me to take long breaks. But at least now I can take some comfort in knowing that maybe I can still do my art even if I never get the vision in my left eye back fully.

I was becoming significantly depressed wondering if this was the end of my ability to do my art. Even with having just 1.5 eyes functioning, I still have some hope that I can find a way...somehow.
