COVID-19. The virus is nestled in my left eye now and causing conjunctivitis. Docs say up to 6 weeks to clear. I hope it goes away like they say. It’s like looking through an ice cube in my left eye and after over a week of it, I’ve had enough.

I’m not in te right place mentally right now to sleep so I figure I’ll see what’s going on in here.

on death watch over here, my maternal grandmother could go at any time. The Alzheimer’s has finally ran its course and the time we have left now is measured by minutes. This makes the 4th family death in less than 2 years, but this one gonna hit the hardest. This lady stepped in and raised me as her own. She was more my mother than my grandmother. Lived with her And my grandfather 9 months out of every year until we moved closer and then it was every weekend, every school holiday. Etc. this one is gonna be hard. Very hard. Haven’t been able to visit her in the nursing home since Late Feb due to this virus ****. Luckily they did let us in one by one, after being medically examined by a doctor, to say our goodbyes. Man, this one is gonna suck

Thanks. On one hand, I’m glad her suffering and this terrible disease will be over soon for her. But on the other, I don’t want to have her go. The other sad part is that Sunday is her and my grandfather’s wedding anniversary. Talk about **** timing
 
Evening all. Didnt even bother back reading.
Both halves of the cowl welded together and then welded back in the car. Got news that we may get rain mid-day tomorrow so partially installed headliner and got the new windshield and weatherstripping installed.
Now they say tomorrow evening but that gives me more time to finish up more.
 
Ordered the cam snout from Hughes, man they have slow shipping. So may not have the 360 finished this time.
 
Friend of mine had a '68 Torino Fastback with a killer SBF in it, top loader 4 spd. Nice hot rod. His SB had more beans than mine and mine was pretty hot. He was at the local illicit street activities one night when the clutch decided to have a catastrophic failure. From the size of the hole in the cowl we surmised that a portion of the clutch disc had made it's exit there.
About an inch wide and 12-13" long right through the cowl and everything underneath it. He was lucky it picked that route to escape rather than a sideways exit.

That cam snout sucks... Under engineered piece of ****...

I had to modify it on my son's engine to make it more robust...
 
Supposed to be a nice day today.
Good, need to pull a customer’s car out of storage.
Dart will be in the daylight, may push it into shop.drop in the 318. Would be nice if it ran and moved under its own power.

Doing fine. Right now they only have about 300 persons affected, but the Government still wants them to shelter and social distance. I believe they have a handle on it....I'd go , but no Visa's are being issued......:(:(
 
No travel in or out of province,quarantine orders apply.
travel to northern manitoba is restricted now as well.

Martial law has been declared in the phillipines..
