Stop in for a cup of coffee

Aw, what the heck. Here's a link to his Facebook page. I stopped by one day and he was working on a Ford coupe. "Hey Joel, what's that red colored accents in the overhead console?" "Rattlesnake" he said!

We want buckets, console, and a few other odds and ends. I'm sure it won't be too difficult for him.
Here are a few pics of what we have. We want to stay with the same colors and kind of an old school look, nothing real modern.
Our car is not stock by any means. I'm sure he'll have some great ideas.

Damn, that's nice. Ya, he can do whatever you would like.

Got linkage off parts car. Managed to get cotter pins off tv linkage on trans from the top, no jacck and no crawling. Bonus!
Seeing as i dont have a spare control for the ‘lectric choke im going to put a switch and a light on it. Temporary you know..

I have thought about doing that. After the engine builds heat there should be no reason for the heater in the choke housing to stay on.

When I finally get my valve stems I will need to handle them like a fckin bomb. I order stuff online to avoid face to face. Valve stems coming from Missouri. Seems harmless enough...They went through Indy, Jersey City and Philly. We decon all mail, but damn!

Exactly. Flip switch off to turn off light. Ready for next time. If it stays on high idle too long, flip switch. Thinking i will do it on fargo to keep this one simple.

Great minds think alike. I was just checking on my points. They came from Breese, Illinois and are going through St Louis. That's ok because Breese is just east of St Louie. I should get them tomorrow. I have a couple other goodies coming from China and the Ukraine. No tracking numbers on those yet. I wonder if the overseas stuff will be affected by Corona? Put on the gloves when handling and unpacking stuff just in case. LOL

So when i took bad trans out a couple years ago, i guess speedo cable was hanging and snagged hoist when we dragged car out.
Didnt wreck shield, and nut and sleeve are long gone. Found one on another transmission the cable was cut off.
heated sleeve and pushed cable out.
Using a punch i straightened part of the crimp. Then ran a 5/16” tap in sleeve. put sleeve and nut on transmission adapter and threaded it onto speedo cable. Lotsa grunts and its a perfect repair!

Beautiful car even for a chevy
And nothing wrong with that. I always wanted a 56 Chevy. Question, If you weren't a Mopar fan what collector car would you own? Ford: 65 Fairlane, 66 mustang fastback. Chevy: 56 Bel Aire, 67 Chevy II. AMC: Small block Gremlin, Rebel Machine. I like street rods. A 33 Willys would be cool.

67 Ford Fairlane GT for me.. Big Block 4 speed, of course...
Just got back from my 5 mile bicycle ride...
Time to look into a small repair job today...02 Camry ...Oil Change, Washer bottle leaking, Check engine light ( temp sensor ) Yup Gravy....

Try putting some Dr. Sholls gel inserts in your shoes for more cushion...

I've tried all that stuff. Even have two pair of 250 dollar custom made inserts. Nothing's worked long term so far. Dave was kind enough to describe some stretches. I am just starting them now.

Your leg is in a cast... Just how much are you going to get done???

So, installing kickdown. The bellcrank hits my bulkhead connector. So find another or remove bends and shorten arm?
So close! its the type with the ballstud.

Just talked to the roofing contractor. $77,000 but that includes a lot of extras.
