My kid broke his impact wrench that he uses for work, so he took my home impact wrench to work...
After two weekends in a row where he forgot to bring mine home for the weekend so we can do some work on the cars, I decided to just buy myself another one and let the kid keep my old one for work...
So I have a brand new 1/2" drive Ingersoll Rand 600 ft * lb impact wrench again!!! Woo-Hoo!!! View attachment 1715518360
Nah, their budget already exists for the year and since they aren’t doing general airshows, might as well do this. It isn’t costing anything extra.More money wasted IMO. But WTH, we seem to be printing the heck out of it!
Same here for the rain. I need to put up deer fencing at the end of our nursery so I can put the fruit trees out in the sun with the bees, but not today!
Good eye! You are correct, that is exactly what it is...in my own style. That looks the royal Gorge train.
I find my dewalt doesent have the kick i would expect. The mass needed to move the bolts is where the air tools are more betterer.I really like this
RIDGID 18-Volt OCTANE Cordless Brushless 1/2 in. Impact Wrench (Tool Only) with Belt Clip-R86011B - The Home Depot
Maximum torque output of 485 ft./lbs. of torque in forward and 620 ft./lbs. of torque in reverse for heavy-duty applications
I have it and I love it. Hoppy and I have tried to get people interested in Rigid tools. They are guaranteed for life and that includes the batteries.I really like this

I have two. The gen 5 is kind of weak. The Octain is a lot more powerful...I find my dewalt doesent have the kick i would expect. The mass needed to move the bolts is where the air tools are more betterer.
The high speed in the dewally tends to damage the socket and fasteners. Watching the metal filings fall as you let it pound.
Havent tried the milwaukee yet.
I have an Ingersol Rand professional from Sperry New Holland when they went out of business. It's air and does not do any better than the Rigid. SeriouslyI find my dewalt doesent have the kick i would expect. The mass needed to move the bolts is where the air tools are more betterer.

More so than a good eye, I live close to the royal gorge and I go there regularly every summer. That place is a little over an hour away from my door stepGood eye! You are correct, that is exactly what it is...in my own style.

I have a earthquake from HF.I have been abusing my ultra-pro impact for 15 years, think its one of the best air tools i have purchased. Think it was made by ingersoll.
I'm a big time rail fan. That is my second hobby next to cars. I had a model railroad setup but it's disassembled now due to a couple moves. Once I fix my house the way I want it, I'm going to dedicate a room for a room size model, prolly in H.O. scale because that is most affordable..I love trains......Cue Karl!
Is mr. Karl a model railroader too?I love trains......Cue Karl!
No but he likes Trains!!!Is mr. Karl a model railroader too?

My favorites are first generation diesel. That scenic run they do at the royal gorge is first generation diesel powered.
Near the royal gorge are a lot of places to go white water rafting. The place is a playground.
Yea, rail watching is fun especially during the winter. I am a member of a railroad preservation society. We have a historic depot near by.No but he likes Trains!!!
I came to California from Indiana in 1964 on the Super Chief. When it actually came down Cajon pass into San Bernardino. Was a fond memory..I'm a big time rail fan.
