Stop in for a cup of coffee

I came to California from Indiana in 1964 on the Super Chief. When it actually came down Cajon pass into San Bernardino. Was a fond memory..
That was before my time and even before my mom's time lol, sorry....

When I was coming out of high school and becoming more aware of current transportation. (Early 2000s)

I remember these were brand new at the time and I was really into the pumpkin theme.

It’s too early to tell, but maybe...just maybe...my vision in my left eye is starting to return to normal.

Today is the first day I noticed that it seemsed to be better...just a little.

Any progress is good, even if it’s just for today.

18 gauge is not bad to work with. think i need an anvil and a 5 lb hammer to work with the Fargo metal.
I made a mistake on the rockers of the Wagoneer. They used significantly thicker steel than the quarters and floor.

Nah, their budget already exists for the year and since they aren’t doing general airshows, might as well do this. It isn’t costing anything extra.
Got to see the east to West pass at 2. I was hoping to see them over Broad street heading south but wasn't in the right spot for that.

Is that a bad thing ??
It's a good think, but the bad thing was my patch material was thinner. I think it was 18 ga galvanized. My notes are somewhere...in pile probbaly...
Made it more difficult to weld.
Really should have put a new rocker on it but it didn't seem that bad initially...

If anyone were to ask me where heaven is, I'd say it's in the southwest U.S.A. .....
For a Jersey kid it was an amazing to see the Buttes and Painted Desert and Sante Fe and all that.
I had flow out to Washington and San Diego but never been through the SW.
