Hey Craig, was thinking of you while reading "What are you doing to your car today" thread. What's on your list this spring? Going to build your shop this summer?

I plan on building the shop this summer. John and I have a few things planned for the car.
We're just waiting on the dust to settle with planes and virus so he feels good coming out.
No car shows in the near future, so have nothing but time.

Morning Mopar heads, this broken foot stuff sucks. Good thing I have coffee.
Back in 1989, I crushed my left heel bone, by jumping down bout 5ft from a boat, that was dry docked, onto a very hard surface. Yup, had been drinking. Tried to get up and walk. Uhhh NO....Went to the hospital, X rays Etc.. Yup crushed Calcainious ??? bone. No cast for that injury, has to heal on its own. Thought I'd be ok in a few weeks....WRONG. Was on crutches for 9 months. But I did start back to driving to my business after a few weeks. Pretty tough with manual trans. LOL... I remember going to my Fathers Funeral at Arlington N.C. on crutches...:(:(

Oops, County Jail staff member tests positive.

sorry to see this Jaws, make sure you do all you can and what the doctor says to do, a foot can be a long time to heal, heals FASTER the better you take care of it, give it good healing time, don't rush it and do all the therapy they ask of you, seen this go for over a year and sometimes don't get right for two years, stay strong and healthy Jaws

Can't do a clutch for now, Truck and Chrysler are first two in garage, yep both manual trans. Barracuda with an auto is in the back.

Good Morning All

I think I have a new record for fast shipping...(without paying for overnight rush)
Been looking at the old seat on my mower. Upholstery over sheet metal. Metal cracked from both sides. Vinyl covers cracked and chunks gone. Decided it was time for a new one. So I was looking at one that appeared the same, but was made to be universal. Had like 50 holes for various mounts. Of course the ones that I need are not positioned right so would need to modify it. :BangHead:
Kept searching and found a cross reference to the 'OEM replacement' Turns out it's upholstery over a plastic shell, but looks pretty tough and fits PERFECT. And back to where I started..’shipping’. Cheapest one on ebag was $139. Delivery would have been May 15. Couple items down is one that says delivery May 1 to May 5 for a couple bucks more. Both had free shipping. Turns out it's Sears Parts Direct. I ordered it yesterday after noon. Was on the porch from UPS when I got up this morning.

I bought a couple cans of R22 last night. I might have to top off the house air this summer. It freezes up from time to time and only cools a handfull of degrees.
