Well that was a task. Emptied 3 storage buildings. Moved some vehicles around and made room in my tarp shed. Tomorrow i have a wheel bearing to replace. Should go quick.
Somebody likes you!
That sucks. Damn cancer. Joel likes little projects like this. It gives his mind a rest when he is doing all the creative stuff.Somebody likes you!
Looks fantastic!
Wish i could send my stuff to him.
The local upholsterer has taken seriously ill. She’s such a nice lady, and they figure its some form of aggressive cancer. Her husband was by the other day, docs have no clue what to do.
Our roof estimate was $75,000.. LOLGot a rough estimate for the metal roof, ridge cap, endcaps, seals and screws for the house and porch. $1,730.00-$1,800.00 including taxes.
Ouch! Our roof estimate was $75,000.. LOL
Well, it's pretty involved. Tht also includes facia, 6"gutter and downspouts, New OSB sheathing, rebuilding the brackets and outboard rafters and covering them with sheet metal, amd reflashing the chimneys.Ouch!
I wish! Here's a 100 year old photo that Ddaddy colored for me.I still have to buy furing strips. Also doing the work myself with 2 guys helping.
Ok, I was going to say WAY too cheap. But materials only..I still have to buy furing strips. Also doing the work myself with 2 guys helping.

Is the rich peoples garden thingy still there?
He will be gone Thurs, and Friday of this week but you can call him whenever. I let him know.Your seats look great. I like his work!! My buddy is almost done with a 39 Ford, same color Joel's working on.
Did he make the cover, or just install?
No but believe it or not the concrete still is. The oak tree on the left will come down this Friday. It has developed a huge split down the middle. Sad to see a 100 year oak come down.Is the rich peoples garden thingy still there?
Is the split between branches? In the saddle? I poured concrete in the split before and saved a real old tree. Got another 20 years out of it....still standing when I sold the place... wrap the area with shrink wrap, real good, then pour the concrete. Let it set, remove the wrap....No but believe it or not the concrete still is. The oak tree on the left will come down this Friday. It has developed a huge split down the middle. Could bolt it back together with a 10' drill bit and a 10 horse drill. Is the split between branches? In the saddle? I poured concrete in the split before and saved a real old tree. Just install. Legendary. We were talking about that yesterday. He can make them but not for as cheap as Legendary does. He's a dealer.Did he make the cover, or just install?
Furring strips usually better for the long run than ply or OSB.I still have to buy furing strips. Also doing the work myself with 2 guys helping.
I'm sure you've seen trees cabled. Sometimes it works.Could bolt it back together with a 10' drill bit and a 10 horse drill.
