Stop in for a cup of coffee

One of my phobias. Oil leak in the car. So i keep an eye open for that. Im installing an aftermarket heater in the fargo, concerned about hoses passing through.
It's my one concern too. I have a copper line oil pressure gauge in the GTS than I am constantly checking for wear. I may have to replace it with an electric signal one just to ease my mind.

Talk about a copper line leak. Our icemaker line sprung a leak. Good thing it's a old house and it leaked into a store room. I still haven't figured out if I can pull a new tube in. It looks like it was put in before they built in the frig. (Banghead)

When we had the new fridge installed in this house when we bought it, they refused to connect the copper line to the ice maker. Too much liability for leaks they said. Told us we would have to connect it ourselves.

Plastic might last the rest of my life. (Or until we get a new frig)

I ran the plastic line up through the floor and out an empty outlet box I installed just off the floor to protect it. I bag the ice as it fills the tray and throw it in the chest freezer so I am set when needing a cooler full.

I left a big 'slinky' coil of copper behind my fridge. So it will easily flex to move fridge out and back if needed to clean or whatever. Shut off valve is easily accessible on pipe in basement below it. At this point the icemaker is dead, so we use trays. But still have cold filtered water from the front of fridge.

I just chose not to connect it. We just don’t use enough ice to justify having an ice maker anyway. An ice cube tray is all we need for the little we use.
Had a fridge with an ice maker, me being a light sleeper i didnt care for it banging and crashing in the wee hours. I plumbed it with the plastic line.

I dont need a machine to make ice,and it being winter 19 months a year we dont use much ice anyway.

Morning guys. Early for me. I woke up at 4 thinking about this stupid roof project. I got on the Certainteed site and messed with their virtual software. I know the colors aren't exact but I don't think I like any of the colors. Too much money to have something that is ugly. LOL

Actually had the body guy come over yesterday, he had my rear valance/tail panel to straighten and weld some trim holes up. Did a great job!
