Stop in for a cup of coffee

Good morning, enjoying the cool weather. Happy Friday guys. I think the full Moon affected my sleep. Up all night Wednesday and last night I had a good dream that seemed to go on and on. Towards the end, I rode with a girl in a Corvair convertible. Where does this stuff come from??

Wish you guys could share a bit of that cold stuff. Not a fan of the heat.

Frickin PA extended 'stay at home till June 4" . :BangHead: There are some very limited areas that are still having a problem, but we are divided in 6 regions and the worst county in your region determines when you are cleared to the next step. I'm guessing Tike will have some thoughts on that in the morning  @dartnabout . I agree with a lot of what we are doing, (or at least did agree to start)but some is going overboard and getting to be a PITA.. Now with this extension a lot of places are still not working that could be. Will be getting more details tomorrow (later today)on exactly what the latest requirements are.

Government is getting us to act the way they want us to....

so I have a question for all you tool gurus. A couple years ago when my great-grandmother died, I inherited some of my great grandfather's wood working tools. One of them is a vertical bandsaw. Would there be any concerns with me putting a band for metal cutting in it vs the wood band thats in it now? I mean don't think there would be but I don't wanna destroy this thing either

Im no expert, but I cant imagine it would hurt it.

Should be ok with a fine tooth blade and say Sheetmetal. What brand and you have a pic?

Prob not a good idea. You need one designed for that. Motor has to be waterproof and the blade can slip on the drive pulleys.

Blade speed is your concern. I dont think you can really hurt it.

You would have to put a wood to metal inverter on the motor to handle the extra force needed to cut metal....
