The only sunshine and breeze over here is coming out my @ss....
I am seriously thinking of spending more time in Viet Nam.......makes my case for selling out my 401k here, going to Montana, finding a remote mountain and building my own place away from the drama and stupidity of mankind that much more enticing. itd at least be a nice vacation home.
Not sure what you mean on coolant. Would I see that fluctuating on th gauge?Fuel pump/fuel filter.
Low fuel pressure wont set a code, but it causes longer injection pulse width. Coolant temp sensor going out of range,
Forcing it rich.
Looks like the assembly includes the filter regulator. So Kinda no brainer to get the whole shebang if I am doing any of it. So now its a question of which chinese part is better Spectra at $50, USMotor ? $82, Denso $129, Delphi $145 The Spectra is a closeout - don't know the original price. Anybody got input to any of these better or any junk? @TooljunkieGuess I'm not doing anything on it today. Walked out to the car and it started pouring. Didn't think that was supposed to happen till later. Oh well. I was already figuring on using the wifemobile for at least a few days. Heading to RA website to see what they have...
Denso, Delphi, and Spectra in that order would be my choice.Looks like the assembly includes the filter regulator. So Kinda no brainer to get the whole shebang if I am doing any of it. We're getting hit with that line now. Lost power for a minute.Guess I'm not doing anything on it today. Walked out to the car and it started pouring. They all junk. When they fail.Looks like the assembly includes the filter regulator. So Kinda no brainer to get the whole shebang if I am doing any of it. So i called up 03 neon 2.4 fuel pump. Retail 373 cdn. Ouch. 2.0L isnt much better. 289 retail. They all junk. When they fail.
I end up with spectra most of the time, dont think i have had any come back.
Is that OEM?So i called up 03 neon 2.4 fuel pump. Retail 373 cdn. Ouch. 2.0L isnt much better. 289 retail.
quadruples the value of the car..
Don’t think it got that windy here. Thunder was rattling things pretty good though. The storm ripped through here about an hour ago. 60 mph straight line winds and half an inch of rain in 20 mins. I just inspected outside. No real damage, just tons of small branch tips and leaves everywhere.
Hope that solves it. I prefer a fuel pressure test, usually during a road test pump pressure will drop if its bad.Is that OEM?
It's the 2.0. Auto Box stores around here want 100-150, but not in stock anyway.
Ordered the spectra from RA. 60 bucks to my door in about a week. Will probably drop the tank and flush it out while I am waiting.
My 96 Dakota would do the same thing. Sometimes a hick up sometimes a stall. Sometimes it fired right up sometimes I would have to crank a bit. I checked the pressure on the spot when it acted up. either none or very low. I ordered a pump. It acted up a few days ago and I thought I would mess with the wiring under the hood. When I wiggled the front ecm harness on the pass. fender the engine would stall. I unplugged the harness's (3 ) from the ecm (after breaking the friggen clips off) plugged them back in a few times and it has been perfect since. No connectors backed out or corrosion.Hope that solves it. I prefer a fuel pressure test, usually during a road test pump pressure will drop if its bad.
Drove a malibu around for 2 days before i saw fuel go away, turned out it was aftermarket anti-theft would drop the circuit. enough to drive a man crazy.
Probably most drove around hem till they ran out of gas. I’m sure they beat the crap out of them though.Looters got into a Dodge dealership in CA, drove off with a Hellcat.
Looters Snag 50+ Cars Including $100K Hellcats, Chargers, Challengers, And Trackhawks
Yeh, don’t like throwing parts at things. But with no good way to test it... I’d bet none of that was ever changed, so figure its not a bad idea anyway with that filter in the assembly like that.Hope that solves it. Nah, unibomber lived in a hand duh cave. He’ll no. Plus I have zero desire to bother or hurt anyone, I just want spaceWhy does "Uni-bomber" come to mind when I read that????
not a bad ideaI am seriously thinking of spending more time in Viet Nam.......
They definitely do not have these kind of problems in their country. I don't even think they have a murder rate. I've never heard of a murder there......Nah, unibomber lived in a hand duh cave. He’ll no. Plus I have zero desire to bother or hurt anyone, I just want space

I'm sure they don't. Those comrades just go to a hotel, or disappear, or accidently fall down the stairs...They definitely do not have these kind of problems in their country. I don't even think they have a murder rate. I've never heard of a murder there......
Edit.. This was in reply to spending more time in Viet Nam...I quoted the wrong post
People might think that, but I've never heard of that either. VN is far , far from China in the way they treat their people. They are truly very friendly people. If you ever get a chance, you should check out VN.....I'm sure they don't. Those comrades just go to a hotel, or disappear, or accidently fall down the stairs...
I rent a garage next to guy whose is from there. He's here because is father spent years in the 'Hotel' as POW after we left. It's not China but its still an authoritarian 'communist' government. The fact that we have reasonably good relations, and most families can visit back is a great example of reconciliation. But we still have to be realistic about how things are run. There are criminal gangs along with common criminals and political enemies. I'm sure none make the official news unless its to make some sort of statement.People might think that, but I've never heard of that either. I believe you are getting a biased report on the Country from your neighbor. I still say you should check it out for yourself.....I rent a garage next to guy whose is from there.
