Not sure what you mean on coolant. Would I see that fluctuating on th gauge?
Fuel filter makes sense. I was thinking maybe I've got crap in the tank and sloshed it around good when I pulled out from work. I see that is a combo filter regulator right on top of the tank. Regular price around here is $125 t0 145.
Doesn't look like anyone stocks it though, so maybe get one that I see on ebag for half that. Haven't looked up pump. Would you change both? Is there a way to test and say for sure if one or both are bad? Is it worth dropping the tank and cleaning it out?

Looks like the assembly includes the filter regulator. So Kinda no brainer to get the whole shebang if I am doing any of it. So now its a question of which chinese part is better Spectra at $50, USMotor ? $82, Denso $129, Delphi $145 The Spectra is a closeout - don't know the original price. Speaking of cashing in on your 401K, I know a few of you guys paly the stock market a bit. I have some squirreled away in savings that is only a 1% return. A couple CD's are at 1.3% and 2.15%. I think I could safely make more playing the markets a bit. You guys do it online? Has it been profitable for you? Rate of return?

So i called up 03 neon 2.4 fuel pump. Retail 373 cdn. Ouch. 2.0L isnt much better. 289 retail.

The storm ripped through here about an hour ago. 60 mph straight line winds and half an inch of rain in 20 mins. I just inspected outside. No real damage, just tons of small branch tips and leaves everywhere.

Don’t think it got that windy here. Thunder was rattling things pretty good though.
Hope that solves it. I prefer a fuel pressure test, usually during a road test pump pressure will drop if its bad.Is that OEM?

Drove a malibu around for 2 days before i saw fuel go away, turned out it was aftermarket anti-theft would drop the circuit. enough to drive a man crazy.
My 96 Dakota would do the same thing. Sometimes a hick up sometimes a stall. Sometimes it fired right up sometimes I would have to crank a bit. I checked the pressure on the spot when it acted up. either none or very low. I ordered a pump. It acted up a few days ago and I thought I would mess with the wiring under the hood. When I wiggled the front ecm harness on the pass. fender the engine would stall. I unplugged the harness's (3 ) from the ecm (after breaking the friggen clips off) plugged them back in a few times and it has been perfect since. No connectors backed out or corrosion.

Probably most drove around hem till they ran out of gas. I’m sure they beat the crap out of them though.

Yeh, don’t like throwing parts at things. But with no good way to test it... I’d bet none of that was ever changed, so figure its not a bad idea anyway with that filter in the assembly like that.

They definitely do not have these kind of problems in their country. I don't even think they have a murder rate. I've never heard of a murder there......

People might think that, but I've never heard of that either. VN is far , far from China in the way they treat their people. They are truly very friendly people. If you ever get a chance, you should check out VN.....
I rent a garage next to guy whose is from there. He's here because is father spent years in the 'Hotel' as POW after we left. It's not China but its still an authoritarian 'communist' government. The fact that we have reasonably good relations, and most families can visit back is a great example of reconciliation. But we still have to be realistic about how things are run. There are criminal gangs along with common criminals and political enemies. I believe you are getting a biased report on the Country from your neighbor. I still say you should check it out for yourself.....
