Stop in for a cup of coffee

Good morning Leroy.
hi Ben

, I fell back to sleep..... working from home really sucks......... NOT

Been kind of nice, today getting sticky though.

That’s what she said
Good Morning
you beat me to it... I slept until 11 so someone had to

Neon is back together and running. Not sure if it solved the problem. It has never run 'smooth', so tough to tell. Did a little test drive and it was not terrible. No big hesitation, but seemed sluggish going up a good size hill. There is a long incline the way I usually come home from work. That's were I noticed it was definitely not right before I changed the pump. the place I just tried it is maybe 1/3rd as much of a hill, so not as convincing one way or another. I only put a couple gallons back in (ran some of what I took out through a strainer) Think I will run out again and get gas and see how it acts.
I did have one oops putting it together. Forgot to transfer the little lock clip for the fuel line fitting. Hit the key a couple times to prime the line and heard a pop and spray.... At least I know it had good pressure. LOL

The power washing guys just finished the house top to bottom. 2 guys, 3 hours, $300. Worth every penny!

Before and after...

Gotta get ready for work now. Think I will take her car to work and pick up some injector cleaner. Run that in with some fresh gas tomorrow...

It’s amazing how much dirt vinyl siding attracts. It’s nice that you don’t have to paint it. But I was cleaning it every 3 years.

Yep, all the houses in this neighborhood get done every 3-5 years. Our house was last done 5 years ago just before we bought it.

I figure $300 every 3-4 years is cheap compared to painting and a relatively low cost maintenance item.

In California, everything is stucco. 0 maintenance... And a good insulator...

Gotta love that organic material and it's choices of residency :realcrazy:

Around here, it is too cool and wet for stucco and all of them develop serious mold issues in the walls behind it because it doesn’t dry out. It is severe enough that many banks refuse to write mortgages for stucco houses. A few of the houses in this neighborhood had stucco fronts when built and have since been ripped off and replaced with vinyl, some of them to the tune of $100k for the additional mold and rot repairs.

So the motorcicle has been screamin' at me for a new front skin. Ordered 1 last week. Weather is cooperating so I pull the wheel off this morning. I should have checked the axle dust seals before I ordered the tire :BangHead:. 1 good, 1 not so good. That will be 4-5 days no doubt.

SoCal is statistically only 1" of annual rainfall away from being a desert.

Overcast today, raining off and on. Float planes flying low, can almost count the rivets on the floats. When they land its pretty quiet, but take offs are sometimes window rattling.

I used to live 1/2 mile off an air force base... They had C-130's and B-52's... You didn't have to look when a B-52 took off, you could feel it shaking the ground, you knew it was a B-52 taking off...

And Happy birthday!!!!

Right in the middle there are 4 coal black eyes surrounded by feathers.
Of all the places momma owl could have picked to build her nest. :realcrazy:
On the other end of that structure is a 250hp electric motor driving a fan/blower 6' in diameter.
They grew up enough for momma to either carry them to a better location or fly away on their own :D
