Need to get a bottle of something to try out the new glasses I got. Daughter sent me them and some fancy shmancy ice cube trays for Fathers Day. Checked the cabinet and all I have left is about a shot of Woodford (straight bourbon) and a glass of Jameson....
Any recommendations? -tasty, fairly smooth and under $30...

I think it is perfect for an ordinary event, nothing fancy but quite adequate for a summers eve.

Are you looking for a whiskey, bourbon, or?/? I am a fan of Tullamore Dew, Basil Haydens, and now Pure Class Vodka. The other Scotches and such are out of that budget.
Oh, and Dad (likely lurking and seeing this) like Great Northern Vodka but I think it tastes like Sharpie markers smell.

Yeh, whiskey/bourbon. Agree, any Scotch I have liked were fairly pricey.
Cleaned a few out the other day myself.....
Went and wrapped a chain around some small maple trees growing up against the house foundation. Barely a tug and out they came. Have cut them down in the past, they just grow back.

I would think that would upset most of the "protesters", they tend to like fried chicken.... (Not that there's anything wrong with that....)
Dispose of it in a lake or river...
Or leave it outside the morgue and tag it with "Covid 19" on the toe...
If you happen to come across my mind while cleaning the gutters, please leave it in there....
