Are you looking for a whiskey, bourbon, or?/? I am a fan of Tullamore Dew, Basil Haydens, and now Pure Class Vodka. The other Scotches and such are out of that budget.
Oh, and Dad (likely lurking and seeing this) like Great Northern Vodka but I think it tastes like Sharpie markers smell.
I like T Dew. Also Irish whiskies and upper highland Scotches. Peated Scotch? Sorry no.Yeh, whiskey/bourbon. Agree, any Scotch I have liked were fairly pricey.

For cars, yes. Full size trucks, ok for short people. think my ceiling is 13-1/2 feet where hoist is, if i lift it to top its too damn high to do anything. Bottom of my drive on is 6 feet at full rise.Sooo 12ft shop ceilings will suffice? With a lift?
Rule of thumb, your own height plus 7’. The 7’ allows for a standard car with the hood open to clear.Sooo 12ft shop ceilings will suffice? With a lift?
Mine is 14 ft where the lift is. I have a 2ft extension on it , so I can walk under pop up vans and tall vehicles.Sooo 12ft shop ceilings will suffice? With a lift?
For me that would be the 12 foot ceiling.Rule of thumb, your own height plus 7’. The 7’ allows for a standard car with the hood open to clear.
If I were building from scratch, no less than 14’. For someone your height, 15’ is better.
Exactly. For me that would be the 12 foot ceiling.
4'7" + 7' = 11'7", so I'd have 5 more inches of clearance.
Yep. For me it would be a 13’ ceiling...but I would want room for light fixtures above so I would go with 14’.For me that would be the 12 foot ceiling.
4'7" + 7' = 11'7", so I'd have 5 more inches of clearance.
If you go to the lift manufacturer that you are wanting, they will have a maximum height needed. Add a foot to thatSooo 12ft shop ceilings will suffice? With a lift?
Good plan.Evening all. 60+ people on the boat. I think I will be eating in the control room instead of the mess area.
There is no maximum height needed...just a minimum. If you go to the lift manufacturer that you are wanting, they will have a maximum height needed. Add a foot to that
I will have to consider the neighbors view, I do not want it too imposing.....No permits this time......Hope she does not call.......Rule of thumb, your own height plus 7’. The 7’ allows for a standard car with the hood open to clear.

Already have the lift....If you go to the lift manufacturer that you are wanting, they will have a maximum height needed. Add a foot to that
