If I ever got a Tatoo, I thought I would get a Tatoo of a snake on my Junk. So when it got angry, the Snake would Grow.....:rofl:
 
Well I missed my chance at first this morning, I was in shop at 0400 trying to get a jump on my day. I have to work the pistol range today. Just swung into house for some poached eggs. I was starving. I did get front wiring harness sorted out tho. Eat some eggs and head to range, I will endure a bunch of new shooters today. It is spooky. Best question I have got this week was a request to bore sight a pistol. You can’t make this up.
 
Well this was interesting. Show up, work two hours, sent home. Too many people on post. Wow
 
In shop. 7:38 on a saturday. Contemplating getting my Barracuda 318. It needs to go into car. So against my better judgement i will be applying a black finish to the engine bay,seeing as the hood will be black too, i think i can get away with it. Then after bodywork i may drop engine and paint in there.

Oh man that is gonna start some serious conversations. Hah! A black engine bay in a non black car. I can here em now.....

Hey MeMike, if you are still up on the hill we just bought 60 acres in Prairie Grove this week. I got green light for 40 by 100 shop. Complete with range, I will have a classroom and small bunk house for guest instructors. Or you know family friends etc etc. Wife is looking at house plans now. Last time I built shop first then house, that is a definite no fly this time! Might be a nice spot to play music, bbq, shoot guns and pee of the porch!
 
Good Morning All! Rain here, came in at 8 pm last night, glad I got some things done outside yesterday! Shop day today!

Congrats! Sounds like a great place. Looks like just south of Branson. That's some pretty country down there.

Yep, I have regrets not finding some correct color when I rebuilt my 273. I was ready to put the engine in and couldn't do it without freshening up the engine bay. The gloss black was handy and turned out pretty good for a rattle can resto but it is black and I do catch flack for it. I just couldn't paint it green/gold.

Congrats, you're about 1.5 hours from where my co-worker is retiring (Gatesville). He bought a good sized house there already and has been traveling back and forth getting it ready.

Thanks! That is kind of the same thing we are doing. We will build at our own pace and slowly migrate. I still have a bunch of family out by you, Olympia and Bonney Lake.
 
Wow, I have a whole 2 day weekend off! Like a mini vacation since I have been working almost every Saturday and a couple long nights this week. Should be decent weather too. Temps mostly between 70 and 80. Chance of afternoon boom boom storms, hopefully they just pass through quickly. Think I will grab my 2nd cup of black water and see if there is a dry chair on the deck...
