Funny. Ford puts a teenie vacuum line across the front of the frame crossmember, clearly in harm’s way. Had a nick in it. Short piece of rubber vacuum hose and a bit of relocating. Should be good now. That reminds me, another guy has the same problem.

I usually just repair whatever they want, unless its too much of a PIA. Then I just send them to someone else.

Right now I'm modifying this guys 94 C1500 Southern Comfort truck again. Wanted all the pullys and the water pump painted nice, and some braided hoses. Said hes gonna show the truck. Pulling a vacuum on his AC now to see if it warrents a charge or not. Then I got a new Custom, all chrome grille and Euro Lights to change out on the front end. Probably have the truck until Friday.....

Opted not to fix murano. Fine by me.
Chevy 1/2 ton with a brake leak.
I replaced rear line last fall. Guess i didint get a fitting tight enough. Is tight now. Not a drip with both feet on pedal. How i usually test, guess it was such a small leak i didnt notice it.

Hey guys. Laying out my lift. 2 post. Does it REALLY need 3 feet between the post and the wall? AND 13 feet to back wall? Seems excessive to me........the posts are 132 inches apart! To the outside flange........That leaves A LOT of room in the center, cannot think doors will extend 3 feet outside the posts......

thats a
big hoist. Go with the manual. My 4 post is near the same width to outside of flanges.
Cars usually line up door hinge to edge of post. 13 feet gives you room for walk around with a crew cab truck. Three feet to the side, can lose some, but walking through will get difficult. At 2 feet cant have anything hanging on wall.

Agreed. You want to be able to walk between the post and the wall comfortably, possibly carrying something.

Same thing on the back. If the car is 18’ long then you need a minimum of 9’ just to center the car plus another 3’ to walk around it. 12’ minimum. The extra foot is for comfort of not being exactly centered (because the weight distribution won’t be).

Can't walk on the other side? Really?

Manual does not specify distance from walls......

It is a asymmetric lift.

If you get it in a little crooked, which you will and intend on pulling an axle you could have problems.
2 cars in a 21 foot space is tight. before i had my hoist i had 2 vehicles in garage, 24 wide and it was cramped.
