Stop in for a cup of coffee

Thanks Mitch. I hope I don't need too much luck a couple of compression fitting shut offs into stainless steel flexible hoses and I should be in good shape
That's what I bought yesterday for the basement sink LOL.. Luckily it turned out not to be as urgent as I thought. Looks like it was only leaking when faucet was on. Will still need done soon, just not an emergency repair.

Was looking for a daily driver and always wanted a second gen ram, found this -97 2wd,318 magnum, leather interior.. got to say i love it,now i need to find another car,it would be a damn shame to drive it all the time in the winter since it would realy suck to see this fine piece of autmotive enginering turn to rust considering how good shape it is in doubt i will ever find another one in this shape. it has only run 100000 miles.

Almost done the equinox. Needed a coffee. Then on to rav4 with a rolling grinding noise. Wheel bearing already here.

So i discovered a most satisfying noise. When a printer/scanner hits the cement floor with some velocity!
Powered it up (before i dispatched it) and it started making all kinds of horrible noises. So i did what any self-respecting man would do. I put it out of its misery.

If HP brand, not repairable, even before said collision with floor...

Well when it rains it pours. I was cleaning some brew buckets and something broke in the faucet and the hot water won't shut off. Of course, no one put shut off's on the line so I have to shut off the whole house and all the hot water lines will drain out into the basement sink. I can't get the faucet apart. (single handle Moen) I bet it's 50-60 years old. I have a new faucet to put in so it's off to Menards for shut off valves and fittings. Wish me luck.

Good luck...

We might get 2inches of rain tomorrow. 70+ and sunny today. So gave the Duster a bath. Took a 20 mile cruise... After a hard start, it ran great. Back in the driveway under cover. Not ready for Winter yet, but trying to dry the carpet, so don't want to add any.

You figure where water is getting in?

Good luck...
Well as usual when you do pluming you need to make a second trip to the store. I swear I had the right shut-off's in my hand the first time around. :BangHead: Got the right ones and put it all together. It all works and no leaks the first time around. Yea!!

Well, I wanted 1/2"compression for the supply and 3/8 compression for the flex line to the faucet. I first bought 1/2" threaded to 3/8 compression.

Just one more reason why I can't stand plumbing repair. One giant pita.
