Did you get the sensor from the dealer or parts store? For whatever reason, they don't play well with the aftermarket parts. Had a similar experience with a 2005 Magnum R/T, put in aftermarket sensor, light stayed on, got one from the dealer and the problem was solved. Dealer was even a couple bucks cheaper too, shocked the hell out of me. I put a mechanical gauge on mine and had 30 or 35 psi idling warm.So I’m pretty sure the Hemi in the wife’s car blew up today. Or at least is going too. Oil pressure light came on, checked oil, it wasn’t near due but I went ahead and changed it anyway. Put in new sensor, light it still on. No noises yet, no glitter in the honey yet. I’ve ordered a mechanical oil pressure test gauge cause no one had one with the right threads in town.
but it sounds like the wife is now gonna get the damn new car she wants.
