SOOO low oil pressure light comes on, and you keep driving till it locks up? Hmmm. My wife would do something like that:poke::realcrazy:
Not me, the wife is driving it despite me telling her to park it :BangHead:. Personally I think she wants it to blow up so it forces us to get her new car she’s wanted for two years.

she refuses to drive my Jeep or my truck because they “ride too rough”. And while she’s able to drive a manual, she won’t until it’s her last resort.

Time for a new ride. Keep her happy. Life is a lot smoother that way!

Yep. Well I have to hold up to our end of the deal. We were gonna get one last year but decided to hold off. Deal was the next thing over 100 dollars that needed replaced, we’d go buy a new car.

I really like my VW Golf sport wagon. TDI and tuned. 35 MPG in town and tons of power.....2015 best year to buy....can find very low mileage ones still....Unless you HAVE to buy new.......I will never buy new again....

50 mpg highway? I could drive to Carlisle on 18 gallons of fuel. I bet you get bored and tired of driving because you never need to stop for fuel. LOL

Very tough to keep it to a reasonable speed, was designed for the autobaun and it wants to go 100 all day long. Or more....But keeping it 80 or lower, 48 MPG. Best car I have ever owned....Hands down....And I have had LOTS of cars, mostly new...

I don't need one but I have a tech friend that loves to work on those things. He bought a cheap one that needed a head gasket. Not a problem for him.

But you can’t buy a new TDI. Buddy of mine sold his back to VW. It was a great road car. Can you even buy a used one?
Yes. 2015 last year VW made a TDI in America. EPA ok'ed mark 5 TDS's for resale and you can get good deals on them. VW did a software update to comply better with Smog requirements, and it had a small ad verse effect, BUT with a Molone stage 2 tune, you get everything back and a little more, all while still passing smog, no CIL, I love it...AND the extended warranty is freakin great!!!
