A friend's Hemi block is coming UPS Freight. Latest update says.....Remote location without daily deliveries????WTF. It is being delivered to work...Mercury Marine. We are in town and get deliveries constantly. Cop Out....Call BS.

the one I posted is glass for the blast cabinet. Glad I was able to polish up the original one. Bet they broke it.

What did the blind man say when he walked past the fish market????

Good morning ladies... :D

Hey men......Hows it going? Anything new, I did back read.....so there is that...

I finally pulled the trigger on a generator, dual fuel 9500 watt. The house had provisions for two 50 amp circuits and and umbilical plug so can run my well pump, fridge etc. and other small things with load shedding. I had a propane tank and line put in a month or two ago, should be a plug and play. Last power outage (3 days) couldn't flush the toilet.....

You have an electric toilet?

We lose the well pump of course so all water is from the water cooler and any flushing takes a lot of our fresh water up (unless I want to get it from the lake lol!) The pressure tank doesn't hold on for long during prolonged power outages.

I got a quote for a whole house generator, holy **** that's expensive, like 25k. So...since the panels were already wired with the two circuits, one goes to pumphouse, other to house main panel, I'm going to see if I can get by with this smaller Westinghouse generator. My tank is old school 288 gallon, don't make them anymore, it's refurbished and looks alright.

A macerator? AKA a **** grinder....
I was thinking a **** incinerator. That would smell good.

One of my cold storage plants was too far below the sewer system for gravity feed. Had a pit with grinder pumps. One time the pump stopped working. Had a contractor in to fix it, so I have no Idea what was actually in the pump... But the older guy in general maintenance stuck to the story that it was a pair of underwear with the head refrigeration guys initials on the band.
