Stop in for a cup of coffee

Good morning everyone. I hope all is well. Been pretty sore, but trying to keep moving and working on the exercises. Pain meds as needed but trying not to if I can help it.

Have I missed anything?

I've been following some of that and its actually part of the reason I've debated actually doing it.. "If" they get banned, what am I going to be able to do with them then?? Bring them to be destroyed?? Figure hell I could sell them now and make some money, I will have other guns, but do I really need 5 AR's??
I can’t tell you what to do with them. That’s your call. That said, if one looks to history, it’s not hard to see the path of the future. Draw your own conclusions as to what that may be.

and keep in mind, they have a lot of semi auto handguns listed in this gun ban bill. So keep that in mind as well.

if you want/need the money, then I don’t blame you for taking that route. But if I am right.... well it’s too bad to even think about.

Not really.

Not a thing. Zman is buying a new house, Mitch made it to his honey pot in VN, Hoppy is buying and selling parts, Chris is trying to burn down his house with a water heater, Tim is criss crossing the Country hauling cars, Jaws is snowed in, Rani is selling parts and buying more lawn ornaments, SLS sold the farm and went Costa Rica, UNCV is watching Nitro, TMM is sipping some kind of whiskey and keeping us all in check. Other than that just a normal day

@toolmanmike

you posted that article was it yesterday or the day before, something interesting to note. The first two stimulus bills saw a 5-12 percent jump the day it was signed by potus each the time. Depending on the board. The average yesterday... .90 percent. Bonds actually fell .18 percent.
Troubling indicators.

Sounds like you are on the mend. Your surgery was different than my heart surgery but I was on nothing but extra strength Tylenol after the second day. I was surprised by that. I hope you aren't on Fentanyl or the like.

I got 800 mg Ibuprofen after my knee surgery and that was it. Well the first day, I got hydros but that was only for day one

Can I ask you a gun question? I have a Beretta Stampede 45 long colt. Is it worth hanging on to?
You are asking the wrong guy, see attached pix. First I love all things chambered in 45lC. Second I firmly believe you should always buy not sell. Short answer keep it! Should you want to part with it you will find no shortage of folks interested in it. It is steadily going up in value and will continue to do so. You can most likely already sell it for more than you paid for it. It don’t eat much, doesn’t take up much space and continuously increases in value. Hang on to it!

A better shot of what I’m talking about. The shed is not mine but the neighbors. My property line runs over even with the utility box in see in the background. I can move dirt out about 20 feet and pave it.

Makes sense. there's no room to maneuver, never mind park a trailer or third vehicle. You'ld have to move something everytime you want to get the nice cars out.

Need to get you a button down cowboy shirt.
Or howbout one of those fringed leather smocks they liked in the old movies.

Seems like an odd dog leg, clearly there is no easement issue as the shop looks to be parallel with property line with standard hold off distance. Wonder if there is something underground utility like that forced them to dogleg? Maybe there was a tree there once upon a time? Hard to say, you just never know.
The utilities are underground, but I suspect nothing in the area I want to pave. I'll get my chance soon to actually speak to the daughter. I want to ask her if she knows, why did they build up the dirt four feet around two sides of the garage. It has nothing to do with the landscape. Her Dad built the garage and then passed a year later. No on has ever used it explaining why there isn't a oil spot or bench or cabinet in it. Like a NEW garage, couldn't be happier!!

Right I need the extra pavement. Its 50 yards from the road to the garage so don't want to kink the neck backing that far every time I pull the trailer. Summer the trailer will be outside. Winter I'll have the room to put it in the garage.

Here are a couple more pics. The little grassy area between the garages will also turn into pavement. It will help with the turn around.
Next shows you the build up on the side of the garage. They planned it that way because in the last pic you see the interior wall with the bottom four feet concrete like a basement wall.

Sink some coated steel loops in the concrete so the trailer be locked down. That should stop the dumb thieves and slow down the ones that scope out the situation beforehand.

Maybe the grass was there to soak up the roof drainage.
The one thing I really don't like is the grade running down slope to rain conductor.
Be best to get that roof water going somewhere other than against the foundation.
Not thrilled about having it in the driveway either.
Maybe the photo exagerates the grade??

It does not a real true picture really no slope at all. All the roof down drains flow underground to a drain out in the yard away from the house.

if you need to keep a porous top surface that can tolerate being driven over, a couple companies sell plastic grids that get placed in the ground to protect the gravel or grass and soil.

So all is as it was left...good to hear. If Ramie sold the house and left, any BBQ ideas for MITP?

That's good.
Good point you I'm going to double check it and make sure.
I can always put a drain hole in the ground, or redirect any rain water away from the attached garage and foundation.
