One day workin' at the old Chevron station out there in the desert, my partner and I see this odd weather anomoly off in the Vegas/Needles direction. 90% of the time the winds come from the NW out there, we had ZERO wind when we saw this thing.
all we could think was "This not gonna be good". Sky dark brown and maybe up to 5000' and moving towards us from the east. Few minute later we got cars to gas up coming from those directions. Windshields frosted almost white, chrome primer gray, paint gone. We both put our cars in the lube bay and closed the doors. Few minutes later we can't see the street for the dust/rocks/sand/debris flying by at Lord only knows how fast. 15 minutes later gone :realcrazy: . Seen a buncha dust storms, but only one like that.

Went to coffee this morning. My good friend told me about a house similar to where we are now. He said owners listed it for 260k and after the bidding war got 330K. Buyer said they didn't care about the appraisal, they'd pay cash to take care of any difference.
He was out mowing his yard yesterday, a car pulls up, and the window rolls down. Older couple tell him they are looking for a house, from Canada, and want to know if he'd sell his house. He asked what they were willing to pay. They replied they were cash buyers up to 1 million. They are coming back today to look at it. He lives in a very nice 4000 sq foot house, five garages. four acres lot on a lake. Probably a 700K house. Crazy market in our area right now. People with money, not enough houses up for sale.

That is crazy

Agree ^^^ Hey guys.....Working on getting gauges wired today. Might have to move the Tach. I looks like the location I was thinking will leave no room for the small Siruis receiver. This needs to be easily accessible ...Hmmmm. For those "purests" who will say who needs a stereo, I say, have you ever driven across the country without one? Across Nevada, Oklahoma, Arizona, New Mexico? Will go crazy just sitting there with no music...

Busy morning. Checkin stuff on the Neon. Had low oil pressure and #4 misfire. Disconnected battery to clear codes. It was a quart low on oil so added that. Pulled a couple wires off the coil and noticed the one on #4 was black compared to others. Like painted black. So sanded it off a bit will see if that makes any diff. Also found this wire tucked up under the harness. Looks like a filtered ground, but no idea what for and no obvious spot nearby that it would go under a bolt. ??? Will have to get wire color and see what is near it in harness so I can check schematic... I did touch it to the block while running and it didn't seem to make a difference.

After that I did some more tilling in the garden. Over half done. Was rough going through where the hops were (all gone now). Hadn't been done in a few years. More coffee and probably mow some grass...

That looks interesting. Only one wire going to it? Is it near the battery? Might be a positive power feed to something.....Guessing...

Thinking about a hitch for my dart. Came across this

Actually yes. Multiple times. Back in 05, the radio in my truck went out right before hauling cattle from Indiana, thru Illinois, Wisconsin, Iowa, South Dakota, Montana, down to Wyoming and into Denver.
Then anytime I get my Jeep over 60 mph, the wind noise over shadows the radio to the point I can’t hear it with it turned all the way up. So all the way to Carlisle the other year and back with no radio.
