Yeh sometimes it ain’t worth the effort if it’s wrong soil/climate stuff just won’t grow. I think my hops are done now, but they didn’t go easy. Dug up and tilled under - still had sprouts, lol

The Donut Derelicts should be out soon, almost time for a cruise. Many of them were just up the street in town last evening. There was one there I hope goes to their normal gathering this morning. It is worth deleting a pic or two of the granbrats from the loaded phone/camera memory. It's WAY different 
. I'm not stuttering, those were the initial reactions I had when driving past it, twice.

Oh snap. Sorry to hear that. Hope he stays safe. I’m so glad i steered clear of that career. I spent years trying to get in to the local sheriff department. Eventually, I got to the top 5, they took the top 3. Never tried again. Decided I wanted something less stressful and less weird schedules. Anyway, mad respect for your son and hope he stays safe. This world is going nuts

No luck on the unique rod I saw last night.
Take the below pieces and assemble them in the order below and you will have an idea of just how unique it is.
The fender openings over the drive tires, BB in standard position, Long Nose radiator shell leading the way.

Floor panels patched,painted,weatherstripped and bolted in. Long process. Also got the brake switch wired in. Need to install one inner fender to hold wiring and i think i will take it around the block.

That wasn’t bad. Had a nice breeze blowing, so tuned off the air and kept the door open for better lighting
One of my projects today was cutting iut the trees the previous ornery had in front of the front bedroom windows. Why I don’t know. I also took down the skinny sickly white birch you see in the before picture. Loaded them in the golf cart bed and hauled them to the woods. That cart was a great buy!!

Tree crew comes tomorrow. I've know the owner for 40 years, we worked together at the PD.
For starters they're taking out 15-20 smaller, mostly elm trees. Most of them are the smaller trees growing into the larger trees.
We have trees, lots of trees. They had NO plan when they planted them 20 years ago.
There will also be several trees that will be trimmed up. They never trimmed any of them after they planted them.
