Stop in for a cup of coffee

Well it's the weekend so Cheryl went with me to the new place to work. After an hour she disappears for 20 minutes and comes back. She tells me she has the downstairs bathroom and bedroom mapped out and a cedar closet...
WTH we have enough to do right now...NO
With the current price of lumber...NO
Next year...Maybe
She already has plans to take the covered 12x20 covered patio and screen it in, AND add a deck to the back of the house. (not this year)
Just because the original house plans show a deck doesn't mean we have to have one...right??
She's gone today with her women's tennis team.:D
I'm going out to the new place and do some yard work. Then I'll come back to the current place and finishing painting the shed and some other touch up painting.

Good morning folks, well we found a place to live. Ca rents are out of control! Hopefully we’ll be able to ride it out here until retirement then bust out of this state. Adjusting the budget to get an additional $1100 a month for rent is going to put a serious damper on the Duster and fun columns. Oh well at least we won’t be homeless.

Wow it's crazy out there. I hear you and Tim talking about the prices and completely understand why people leave. We had a family from California relocate here and were shocked what they could buy. Hang in there.

The ‘like’ is for finding a place…
Additional? Ouch!

Ouch. You all see that building collapse in Miami? I’d be surprised if they find anyone alive going forward. How sad

Where to Mark?
That’s a great question Ray! We’ve been looking online at northern Arkansas, Missouri, Kentucky. Not convinced or settled with anywhere yet. There are still lots of other beautiful and affordable places in this great country of ours. Most of them we will have to figure out how to hide that we’re from Ca!

Check out North West Ark, we are building there as we speak. It is amazing, and very tax friendly. Plus you get four seasons, although the winter is not extreme at all. Maybe two snows a year and can’t stick because ground is to warm. The terrain is beautiful. Lots of lakes and mountains.
