Well, i dabbled with that carb and timing most of the day. Seems it wants more fuel,by closing choke plate a little.
And im losing faith in my timing light,as i cranked distributor to 35 degrees at idle and it runs decent and starts hot. So i need to check balancer, maybe its off kilter.

Ehhhh. Just set it by ear. Throttle it up while advancing the dist, until it starts to miss or break up. Back off a little, ya got it....:lol:

I never had any luck with those carbs. I was told issue was the plastic warping a little...
 
Usually something wrong when you have been away for a while. No hot water in the master bathroom. Seen this before last year in the hall bathroom. Did it myself this time for a 1/4 of the price.Replaced cartridge in the Moen. Also bought the pulling tool. Glad I did...
