Stop in for a cup of coffee

Flooring guys will be back today, it's looking great!! They have about 1/2 the main floor done. They will put the carpet down on the 12th, and tile at the end of the month. Great crew buying them Subway today. Crew chief says he's starting to see a flooring supply shortage with the suppliers. What else is new??

Still not loaded! She did vacuum it out last night tho! Still has me in a holding pattern for loading! Like living with a raccoon!
Well she knows she has a place to park it if she doesn't want to drive straight through...:D

I just got told yesterday the convey pipe I need (4inch) has a 32 week lead time. Arghh!

So when we move we become citizens of a small Kansas township on a main two lane roadway 14 blocks long.
Our house is five minutes at 55 mph to town.
It has:
Two churches
A grade school
One BP station
One Dollar General
One pizza joint
One family owned Mexican place ( great cheap food and drinks)
A town cop
A liquor store
NO traffic signals

We look forward to small town living peaceful and very quiet.

The place I moved to last year...

There is an intersection of 2 county roads. 9 houses, a church, and a cheese factory. My house used to be the tavern. I love the quiet and great neighbors.

Good morning everyone. I hope all is well out there. We have a hot rod/rockabilly weekend car show this weekend. Can't wait. Will be nice weather. Greasers, poodle skirts, cool cars, good music....

Morning all. Looks like I’ll be heading to the Mopar Nats for sure Friday.

but before then, I’m going thru the ringer. getting my Pfizer shot today too at 330.
Meeting with my outgoing boss today. He’s a retired Army Col and has been a mentor for me for nearly 5 years so I’m curious to see how this ends up.

If he is in fact truly your mentor it will go great. I mentor several young professionals all across the Country, nothing makes me happier than when they get a new better gig and move on. It is the ultimate compliment for a mentor. Nothing makes me swell with pride like getting a text from one of them thanking me for preparing them for the next step of their career. Often times I do not hear from them for extended periods of time then get a text out of the blue. Thanking me for the new promotion or change and explaining they owe me a debt they can never repay. I always explain to them the way to pay me back is to find some young aspiring individual in their circle and groom and mentor them. Then we are square!

Hey Frank, Fed X says they delivered your shirt yesterday let me know if you don’t find it and we will try and track it. Fed X is a hot mess here lately and I don’t believe anything they say anymore, I don’t think they could find their a** with either hand.

John,
Post#398691
I figured you saw it.
Did get it, and its cool.

Brake job this morning, and a 4wd hub actuator that is mis-behavin. I i tested the vacuum lines and hub. It grinds intermittently.

So just for the sake of double checking myself. On a mechanical fuel pump, the threaded outlet attaches to the metal line and goes up to the carb right? And the barbed one is the inlet from the tank?

Typically, yes.
Put pump in vise, and actuate the lever. Cover inlet or outlet while pumping it. You will know for sure. Im thinking i should do away with the electric and go mechanical. I will have to run a new line though.
