Stop in for a cup of coffee

I'm home to hot to work outside. Going to be 100-115 heat index here for the next few days.
I'll just start earlier, not getting paid enough to work harder.
I'm going to complain to management and see what she says...
I made the mistake of complaining to mine about loading for Ark. and her reply was, and I quote “suck it up buttercup” I told her in no uncertain terms I was not loading the truck last minute for our trip. Yep, truck still not loaded. Game set match, wifey. Marry a red head…. Yep just brilliant I tell ya, brilliant.

So when we move we become citizens of a small Kansas township on a main two lane roadway 14 blocks long.
Our house is five minutes at 55 mph to town.
It has:
Two churches
A grade school
One BP station
One Dollar General
One pizza joint
One family owned Mexican place ( great cheap food and drinks)
A town cop
A liquor store
NO traffic signals

We look forward to small town living peaceful and very quiet.

Question, if you assign a designated driver.
Does that require everyone else to be the designated drunks.:poke:
:lol::lol::lol:
With John IF my memory serves me right, and it could be a serious lack of memory, but when we get together yes, that is a strong possibility.

Nobody can say we don’t have a good time and live life to the fullest! Life is to short to be a stick in the mud! When we die we will be skidding across the finish line, leaking oil, parts falling off, scraping paint. Not in a chair by the window!

Cant help but think about this now. Both moms giving us fits over getting them proper care.

Then there is the customer with the Fargo that crashed his bike 6 weeks ago.
just came to the other day. Drs suspect brain damage.
hes in his 70’s. So, what have i got left? 15 years? Farm wont be paid off by then…

My family has good genetics I guess. Most of my family for the last 3 generations have made it to at least around 95 on average. If you discount accidents, and wars.
With all the abuse I've given mine I'm surprised I made 30.
One more year to 70.

Im gonna giv-er until i cant.
But with this recurring pain issue, i dont know how long i can keep working like this. Im trying to be careful, not stressing the leg too much. Bad habits are hard to break.

Fixed charging issue. 13.68 volt now steady running. Put in two relays. One for iIGN box. One for voltage regulator

Well we all slow down with age. Just have to pace yourself.
What I could do in twenty minutes at 40 now takes more like an hour.
Just have to manage yourself.smarter not harder.

I have to replace my voltmeter. It moves slow and is way off.
I prefer one that acts instantly.
Helps diagnose battery, starter and alternator. I bet its 30 seconds to climb to running voltage.
Edit: i just remembered where my sw gauge went. About to get swapped i think.

Took me till 2:30 to get done with the transpan. I planned three hours including the transmount.
So it goes.
And if I ever see anyone with a tube of RTV near my vehicles, there's going to be a problem - and its going to be theirs. :mob:
Fricken gunked up all the threads on the pan screws. Took forever to get them half decent.

Ya, i hate that. Diff cover bolts. Yet all i ever use is ultra grey or ultra black. But i dont pound it on,and i let it sit for 10 minutes before i assemble. Its like people fill the bolt holes first. I go around them. And every single fwd car i do trans service on.

Going to replace front floor pans in Valiant.
Considering panel adhesive. I did the rockers on my f250 about 3 years ago still holding.
Can't see why they wouldn't hold as long as I get a good fit and weight on them till they dry.

Suppose it depends on whether you can get a nice buttweld.

I bet you do a nice job. I've seen RTV in some shop manuals. Like you describe - instead of a gasket - not gooped on to try to 'improve' the sealing.
I still mostly prefer just a plain rubber gasket for ease of removal and prep for a new one.
