Chainsaws? We don’t need no stinking chainsaws! Been a busy week on farm. I have to return excavator tomorrow so I was doing a bit of tree trimming! Hah!
I guess it helps if you attach the picture right?

So after a thorough and I mean thorough double check. I have power at all circuits but the N safety ! And even more impressive , nothing smoking

Thank you for your help. I am tracing the circuits with the test light now and so far so good. Though I’m pretty sure the neutral safety is bad. And yes.... it’s hooked correctly
Neutral safety, when in park/ neutral switches to ground.
The big thing with circuit testing is being consistent. Always check the test light connection. And im continously testing the test light.

Lets see what you did with your pencil.
You can use a MS Paint.

Bet it works just fine.

So my day consisted of fixing my flat deck trailer. Cut the old decking off, slather on a coat of paint, fetch some full 2” planks and oiled them. Plunked em on trailer and will finish tomorrow.

My day consisted of hand over a set of car keys to my house guests.
Installed new water pump, and of course alt bracket doesn't match up.:BangHead:

seriously, thank you, hoppy, frank, the whole crew. I can't tell you how excited I am to have FINALLY solved, with your help, the majority of the electrical problem on this car! I even have a working HORN!!!! Now, I just have to figure out why she wont crank on her own. Pretty sure its the NS switch. its really corroded, tried cleaning it up to no avail. Napa has one coming in at 7 am tomorrow morning for me so we'll know soon enough.

lol i did this with my phone, very hard to do with my ape fingers.

Basically, I started at the battery and followed the wires to the starter, to the relay, to the ammeter to the ignition switch and so on. its how i figured out my two little starter wires were backwards, i touched that SOL wire in the center and got lots of sparks. Realized it shouldnt be a constant hot. pulled the starter and sure enough, backwards.

Hey Matt nailed it for you he deserves my credit I am the guy in the ballcony of a *** theater spraying hand lotion over the croud with a super soaker!
