Sleepless nights are when my best ideas hit me.

Tonight I'm really thinking I need to Mangum 360 swap my dart.

For years I was thinking the older the engine the better it is but now I'm thinking I need the 360 magnum out of a wrecked late 90s dodge ram I know of.

I really hate Halloween. Who thought of this bullshit of scaring women and kids for no reason.

This creepy **** is just in my way to start decorating for Christmas. The best holiday ever other than Easter. Jesus is such a rock star He has his own holiday.

That's a good choice. I woke up at 2 and instead of tossing and turning I just got up.

The guy also has a wrecked Durango with a 4.7 but I've heard several times that the 4.7 is mercedes Benz bullshit and doesn't need to be put in a real mopar.

Too bad because I could get 3 of them for cheap

4.7's were either really good or really bad. They really needed regular oil changes for a long life. Nope, I wouldn't transplant one.

Halloween has Christian roots and influence.

It's not Benz at all but it is bullshit.

Yep, this is the B/S

Benz is bullshit, my dad has a S560 and it's really comfortable and has a really nice stereo but even doing an oil change on it is so stupid. There's so many covers and contortions. It goes against my car religion

I don't disagree, but thinking the 4.7 is a Benz design is wrong. It's not. It is bullshit, though. I never liked them. They won't pull a greasy outta a cat's *** and they get shitty mileage when you couldda had a 5.2 or 5.9 Magnum.

But the 2.7 60° V-6's have a single chain and are screamers. My oldest has one in a Jeep. The thing is a rocket. I think that single chain with guides and a single tensioner is the key to longer life.

My dad's S560 gets 18 MPG. But it's supposed to have like 500 foot pounds of torque.

My slant can get 18 mpg too but the lawn mower still has more torque but at least I can see all that torque applied through the hole in the floor.

New cars might be faster and more comfortable but NOTHING will ever bring the satisfaction of an old mopar

I don't like the water pump driven by timing..... never.

That drives up the cost of a simple water pump job.

I don't know how hard that is. It doesn't have to be timed so maybe not a bad job. I will have to ask Mark next time I'm at the dealer.

It does achieve making the engine shorter so they can shorten up the nose of the vehicle. In similar fashion to how Chrysler engineers designed the Valiant around the slant six. It was the first inline six to have the water pump offset to the side to allow a shorter nose on the vehicle. Worked pretty good, too. Wouldn't you say?

Watching a video. Ya, it's a turd of a job. Nothing is simple any more.
