There's a Alberta Clipper on it's way. Warm today and windy and cold tonight.
 
We had our snow yesterday.
We got two inches and across town they got six. 30 miles down the road they got 10.
I'll take it 45 today so won't be around long.

Had a great time. It was the organization's first sit down in person yearly dinner since 2019.
She was MC and did a great job. Glad it's done!!

They must have put in a special weather request for Pomona and the Winternationals. When they leave Monday, the high temp is predicted for mid 50s :lol:. Tuesday chance of rain :lol:. Low to mid 70s through the race weekend.

Got notified yesterday of a change in tax base with my state monthly retirement check. I'll receive a whopping extra $18 a month.
I've been retired with this bunch for almost 15 years and never received an increase.
That's ok I'll make it.
 
Good Morning everyone. I hope all is well. It is Friday for us that it matters too. Will be a short day, then home to hopefully put the heads and headers back on the Demon.
 
Well, I watched a movie last night in the sports room while my wife was in the living room watching a show and on her computer, well ! We all no it was warm yesterday, 64 I believe, with rain till 5, I wake up this morning to a 58 degree home because someone didn't set the temperature correctly on the thermostat, cold feet as I turned the coffee on.

Friggin freezing Friday to everyone this morning

then again if I could just talk the wife into it, I have an option for a steel trussed house for under 25k.

Hah! You should see the floor in the apartment. There has been so many change orders the chalk lines look like a drunk layer out the walls! Hah! O wait…… Somehow my portion of the upstairs for storage went from 20x40 to about 12 x25, not sure how it happened. She threw another pony wall and door on me late last night and man door framing ears up a lot of material. At the current prices of lumber I am being super flexible on using scraps!

I fabricated some fancy little brackets from left over steel from the metal building erection. We have a camp table with the obligatory crock pot going for snacks and Shiner Bocks. The apartment is now framed. The little spot where I set up my cut station is all I have left of the initial proposed 20 by 40 storage up top. I lost the argument! The pix looking down on all the staged crap is where my two post lift will sit.

What kind of funny I see New Yorkers for sale lately. I used to pass on them for $20 ugly cars now 5K. Kind of funny.
