Stop in for a cup of coffee

So my office is in Wine Country. Driving into day, I’ve found a 66/67 coronet , a 40s dodge truck, a 20s Ford Cab, a pair of old firebirds, a bunch of old 70s dodge trucks, a late 70s vette, all sitting in fields and weeds amongst the grapes.

Don't trouble yourself. They're planning to fix those up

They finally reopened 81 overnight. Reports say at least 3, maybe 5 dead. 50 to 60 vehicles. Said what took so long is they had to remove the surface of the asphalt cause it was saturated with antifreeze, oil etc...
Good Morning

If they had to grind that AC to get the guck off, the traction should be good for a while . May not wanna spin the tires on it, be like trying to do a burn out on a file . On the other hand, they can't leave it open like that for long. Come paving season you be lookin' at some new black top.

News said they milled it

Perty common practice in the paving world. Lots of reasons for such, grade changes, bad surface for overlay, etc.

Getting ready for an overlay. Surface too badly cracked to waste new asphalt on.

Found the floor!
Shop was a disaster. Put the firebird remnants in the scrap bin. I think the scale and dirt weighed more than the scrap i hauled out. I need a new pair of gloves, fingers keep falling out, not good for welding.
