Good Morning Everyone. Just 3 hours today - Well 2 hours and 32 minutes now, not that I am counting. Then vacation. I can't wait!! woohoo

I got the service manuals. I want the home repair books. I know enough to do a lot just enjoy knowing more or have a book to consult to double check.
Home and gardens made a great one let me see if I can find it.

Which is the reason you seldom see me asking questions. I have a pretty large library of books. If I don't know something right off, I consult them. I guess growing up before the internet and computers taught me the value of books. I don't read novels and such, but I've probably read more technical manuals than a lot of people have read any type book. I've slowed down a little since I retired. That's all I used to do to keep on top of things. Read. And read some more.

It's funny the number of people who dismiss the stuff that was written under the guidance of those that designed and built 'em.
And most of the time the books were reviewed and edited for mistakes.
Back when everything was done in-house that is...

Same here print is the king. Hey remember the World book encyclopedias?View attachment 1715899350
Got a set with two A!
Also now have a 1770s Britanica (reprint) and 1911 Britanica that's pretty cool.

Staying at my friend's house, her dad had some really good ones. I forget if it published by BH&G or Readers Digest but much better than might have guessed. I've got an assortment of books here I've picked up if they look good. A couple on wiring have been helpful too.
I thought mri’s were a no go for guys that did a lot of metal work?

In the eyes is the one I was warned about. I had rust removed so I think they said I'm clear but should mention it.

Morning.

Made a deal last night. I’m trading the Dart for a 57 Chevy Bel Air 4 door project car. Pics to come

Mat ever go through that ignition troubleshooting section with reg tools yet?

On a serious note, Gatlingburg and Pigeon Forge have a big fire going. Not good. It just burned a few years ago
