Stop in for a cup of coffee

Don is going to have a field day with me tomorrow! I won’t be able to move! I may just have him shoot me wherever I drop!
You 2 worked hard today. The fruits of your labor will show in the finished product. Rest up and you will do it again when needed or do like I have been doing lately, make the call, write the check. I know how you feel. Getting old ain't for sissies. I chased the lawn mower around the yard today. 14,049 steps. Most days I only get in 5000 or so. I am beat. I got my heart rate up to 130 and kept it there for 45 min. That's good I guess except for a couple partially blocked arteries I have. Oops.

So today it was humid and hot enough to fog my glasses over! We are whipped pups. My shoulders were smoked to the point Jodi had to help me get my shirt off. I physically could not do it. Man it suks getting old. But we got all the Sheetrock done today, I got the perimeter of shop 110 box’s attached to steel. And romex pulled to each box. And I got power to OH doors sorted out. No idea how many inches of rain we got today but it was serious. We also got the last door framed in and hung. And finished getting the heavy stuff off the trailer and into the shop. I kind of control crashed getting a gun safe off trailer! I told Jodi if I lose it do not under any circumstances try and save it. Just dive out of the way. It is a safe after all. Thing surely can survive a bit of road rash! Hah! Pix is our dinner, to exhausted to actually eat a meal. Topped off with a legendary red solo cup filled with a nice cab! Cheers!

2 pints equals a quart. :poke:
But seriously, reading last posts - better to have the extra sitting around in pints. Although I guess its not a big deal having an open bottle for extended time with this stuff since the whole point is it doesn't suck up water.

What's big and gray and comes in quarts????

An elephant...

Stupid dodge. Cv axle popped apart. Wont go back together. Has happened before, they always go back in. Pulled axle and fought with it for an hour in the vise. Ordered a new cv axle.
Then gave it one more try. When all else fails get a bigger hammer. Much bigger hammer.
Can continue my day.
Stupid dodge…

It's that **** box Dodge again...

After reading your post of all the Romex you pulled, and boxes installed, sheet rock work and doors hung I got tired and sore again.
I agree with Tool man, you will wake up tomorrow and see all the work you got done and behind you, it will be refreshing, but the best thing y'all can do is go have a nice big breakfast. Don't burn yourself out, give yourself some recovery time.
I had a dream about my brother and had to get up, restart my brain..
There is a bunch of recepticals and switches to wire in and closed off I bet, and a few junction boxes, wish I was closer, I could be more help then you could emagin, I have finished my fare share of electric outlets and sheet rock.. move slow and smart, no turning back now .

Oh, congratulations on your day .

So, I have been to Central Africa several times with my church to do short-term mission trips. So I have learned that you can never expect anything to happen on time. Or you never get any advance warning of something that you need to do or will happen. You just roll with the flow. And accept it as part of their culture. It is the same thing here in Vietnam.

Yesterday is a prime example. We had a talk with the real estate guy that helps us the day before yesterday. And apparently the conversation didn't go well from what I understood. So the slice of land that we have over in section 9 of the city we decided we needed to sell sooner rather than later. So after breakfast yesterday chin and myself and her daughter and her boyfriend went over to the piece of land by the new big road. There we met the surveyors that I already knew. Nice guy. Have drank beer with him before. So they brought out the equipment and surveyed the corners of the property. Chin's brother Tep and his wife also came to help. Now this guy Tep is a tough tough tough little Vietnamese guy, fisherman. Fishes by hand with nets in the water waist deep most days. I'll bet there ain't 10% fat on this guy.

So we got on the property at 10:00 a.m. . And didn't leave until 3:00 p.m. 95° and hot sun all day No shade. We had to dig holes in the corners of the property for the concrete marker posts. A woman in her 50s delivered 5, 5 ft long 4x4 concrete posts on the back of her motorcycle to our location. Crazy. And where the markers met the new main road we had to backfill behind the new brick wall that they were building so that we could put our markers next to the road. Was a lot of work. But this old guy hung in there. And we got it all done. Then had to string barbed wire around the perimeter of the property so everyone who came by there knew that it was not to be messed with.

But as always that's never the end of the story. After all that backbreaking work got back to the house at around 3:45 p.m. went directly to the shower. And drank one cold beer. That's when I found out that the surveyor team guys were coming to our house to eat and drink beer at 6:00. Well they got here at 6:00. And they didn't leave until 11:00 p.m. . I'll admit I was pretty whipped. Slept until 10:00 a.m. this morning. The heat and the humidity here really takes a lot out of a person

Man you will be thinner than me when you get back here! My Truck spot Carlisle sticker came yesterday.

Lotta useful information in this one.
Discovered it in my High School library and checked it out numerous times.
Got a lot of those "How does he know that" head scratch looks from the guys I used to desert race with.
