Survived the HOA meeting but not w/o casualties, I am now the V.P. Hoping for not too much drama and just dealing with the road that we maintain.
I bet there was some happy home owners there and glad you are on there team

6 o'clock meds are down with a chicken salad and crackers. Mikie tired..

Thanks HA HA yep happy because they don't have to do it. Seriously though, we're new in the neighborhood, 3 year hitch so how bad could it be?
Probably not bad, its always good to know your naybors, or let them get to know you

Well, once you get your binoculars out to identify cracked caulking on a 2nd story garage dormer... and cite the homeowner, there will be hugs all around

So i attacked the gas gauge in the Fargo. The dodge truck ivr burned out. In my parts haul last week was a cluster from a duster. Kinda crusty. I pulled the ivr and tried it, didnt work. So i pulled the gauge, and hacked it to fit in the Fargo housing. Its recessed almost an inch deeper from lens. I can see it perfectly. And it lights up way better than before. I have 1/4 tank of gas:thumbsup:

Fabo's very own Tom MoparMan won the Mopar Shootout at Mopar Max this weekend. Everybody fought the weather, the track, and the competition. Tom should have bought a lottery ticket last night. He got Bye runs all afternoon yesterday. (odd man get's to advance running by himself)
When he needed a break he couldn't get one. A couple red lights in the open races and a buy back and he lost by something like .002 in the semi finals. Well the Mopar only race he cleaned house. Dialed the ol' Dart in to kill and came up with the cash.

There is somewhere in my family archives a photo of Neil Young pushing my sister on a swing in our back yard. He was good friends with my uncle Leonard. Would be near 60 years ago.

Very cool, really like him. Have a new favorite song of his on this 1968 album, Last Trip to Tulsa. What it's about I have no idea, I just let my imagination run with it, over 9 minutes long and just his vocals and guitar.

Tempest wagon is cool
It is. It was restored by a friend of mine. It was a race car back in the 70's owned by another friend. It is so cool to see it driving around on the street and still running 10.90's. Jeff drove it 20 miles to the reunion.

I will enlarge and crop this one. @Ddaddy might work wonders with it. (I wish I had a tenth of his talent)

Sorry, just some photos from the drag strip reunion I host. John Rapp (first photo) was into racing back in the 60's when the track opened. He is 95 now and still has the "spark". He walked up to the starting line and watched final rounds. I love this stuff. Jim Jensen (the younger fella) worked for him in the 70's and 80's and brought him out. He has coffee with the oldster every week. What a story!

Another heavy hitter was Tom Akin. He had a 427 powered Chevy wagon named the Lead Sled that was a national record holder. It was good to meet him and his son. Between the two there was a lot of old stories to tell. Jeff yost is the younger guy on the left that brought out the Pontic Wagon . He is all about old race cars and the memories they hold.

I printed off a bunch of old car images I had and taped them to the table to display. Many racers came over for a look.
