Stop in for a cup of coffee

Once when scuba diving in Lake Powell I found a Stripped Bass that try to swallow a Bluegill head first. The Bluegill was too big and was stuck in the Bass's mouth. The Bass was dead but the Bluegill was still alive. I pulled him out and let him go. Figured he had been through enough hell.
Went fishing with Mitch on a rental on the Cheasapeak. They used live porgies (spots in MD) for the stripped bass. Man it was not even fishing it was catching. Put them on live drop them over they go to the bottom and Bam you have a striper on. Crazy never fished for them that way always used eels or clams. Of course the wife got the biggest fish that day of course. lost the pics, What a great day!

Your gal would be right at home here. Does it rain often there? Storms or just rain? I don't remember hearing about storm damage or like that. Oh ya, She is so pretty. So classy! No wonder why you have a smile in your face all the time.
The temperatures here are about the same year round. 92 to 95 during the day and can be down to 75 77. But there is a rainy season. Between the months of May and September. It rains pretty hard every day but not all day long usually only an hour or two at a time. No super strong winds. Tropical. Not seen much storm damage other than flooding in the central region during the rainy season but we don't have that problem here in the south

The Stripped have over run Lake Powell. Was a real mistake putting them in there. There is no limit and they want you to kill as many as you can. I hate fishing for them. Talk about no will to live. Here they grow long and skinny. Not fat like out your way. I've caught ones that were 3' long and it was like dragging in a log. Have caught little Small Mouths that put up much more of a fight.

I’d love to try scuba diving once. But honestly I don’t even swim much these days. Love swimming but after my last seizure several years back, I realized it’s not a good idea

I have SMB in the pond avarage around 2-3 lbs now. On LI growing up I used to striper fish in front of the summer house largest I got was 49lbs, never broke the 50 mark off the shore. They can get to 80 lbs there.

Should have fun on the 2nd here have four or five kids coming over for the getogether and they love to fish. I do the bamboo pole with them way easier and no tangles, USUALLY!

We have pretty good SMB and LMB fishing here in the lower elevations. Probably not like down south though. We do have awesome Trout fishing up in the mountains. The natural born ones fight like hell. Really fun. The stockers not so much.

We had this guy in the guard that always had to top other stories, well we set him up good about catching medium mouth bass, he caught a 10 pounder! Pretty funny.

Woah! that lightening was close. It lit up the room. Just a block away I think.

There were some good ones around Chicago Monday night....

Kevin Doom, a meteorologist at the National Weather Service office in Romeoville, said the super cell thunderstorm system that moved through in the evening registered about 500 lightning strikes within a five-minute period. Typical would be 100 to 200 in that time frame, he said.

Monday's storm across Chicago was unusually packed with lightning: NWS

Today is the last radiation treatment for the wife's breast cancer. It has been a pretty smooth experience overall.

We were to go to Yellowstone park this past Sat, but as my luck goes had to cancel due to a death in the family. What a mess

Morning all finally up. Concert last night was great!! People, venue, drinks, and especially the bands all great.
Loverboy opened followed by Styx, then REO. REO with their light show and music was by far the best.
As we sat waiting for the show to start was talking to a couple guys sitting in front of us.
Turns out they were filming a documentary for Loverboy and good friends of the band.
One guy was from western Kansas and knew a guy from there I'd served with on the police department...small world.
My bride told them what a huge fan she was and on and on. They filmed her making her comments.
After Loverboy played, they leave. Durning the next intermission they come back and ask us to follow them.
He takes us backstage where we meet the band. It was just us. We got a guitar pick and a few photos with Paul Dean famous guitarist.
FUN!!
