Good morning everyone. Friday for me. Big storms rolled thru. 10 separate tornado warnings last night. One right where dad lives, haven't heard from him yet, it is a bit early right now. Not sure how many on the ground tho either. It looked like a hurricane with the wind and rain. Really cool. Pic from my way home from class as it rolled in.

OK my friend who has a machine shop is strugling he cannot get the castings for a big company he deals with due to China supply issues. I mentioned to him there is a market doing older car parts, simple stuff. Any ideas what is needed alot and not available easily? I am having him make up some RB to B distributor adapters for me. Any ideas? he is not a automotve shop. Dam place is 320' x 220" built in the 1850's and did mostly cannons and guns for almost all the wars and has CNC machines also. I told him to do a Tour every other week the place is amazing to see.

Morning gang

Happy Birthday Mike!

Added bonus to last night's part run...stopped at a random auto parts store and they actually had the fittings and hose that I could not find locally.

A Sanden A/C compressor mounting plate that is similar to the factory plate that takes 2 belts like the factory ones. My friend modified a factory plate to fit the Sanden compressor. He did both a SB and a BB plate. Everything out there such as Classic and Vintage only uses one belt. I plan on using his setup when I do my a/c.

So at 320'x220" that is only 18 feet wide but 320 feel long. Would be an odd looking place to see too! JK..

Perfect. I would think he would need a example or drawings. What do you think they are worth? I have no idea what his cost will be.
