So go inside and pay.... Then they won't put the higher pre-hold on the card and only use the actual price of the gas fill... :rolleyes:

That works… if the station is staffed and opened at that time. They still can’t people to be clerks around here.

Many of the clerk/convenience store positions are nearing $20/hr here. They have to to stay staffed. With so much reliance on ordering online and delivery there are loads of warehouse picker jobs at that start at that or more. And most of them give nice hiring bonuses.

We have clerks in the 24 hour gas stations here....

But they do sometimes have bullet proof glass to protect them... :elmer:

Same but they still can’t get people too. Covid seems to have broken the will of people to work. And being how it’s literally impossible to evict anyone these days, they’re living for free

And I have close to 4 -5 of most major chain stores within a 10 mile radius of my home... If one store doesn't have it, one of the others may...

If you go to the limit you need to use a different card go top off. Needed three cards to top off recently...you can go in and get as much as you want. Need.
