Good morning everyone. Looks like dad will be over with his Barracuda. He just got the 440 installed and wants to try a higher stall converter. Little rain in the area this AM so we will see. 73⁰ and cloudy
Pics?!?

Wow just Wow, I love the Apaches, I see another one in my future some day. Wish I had not sold the one I built for Jodi.
Have a buddy that can fix you up.

Morning just a little rain last night, gona get muggy 25-30%, that's a lot out here.
96% here. It just stopped raining and you could cut the air with a knife out there this morning.

Getting near the point where we can put a little confidence in the Carlisle forecast. Since the first look- temp went up and chance of rain went down.

Good morning :D
We still have the June Gloom thing goin' on here. Patchy fog overnight and make about 70° in the afternoons. Another month or so and our weather will get summerish . Heard some news the other day about our circle track. First 2 weekends of August we have USAC open wheelers here :D. I don't know if the owner ever settled the issues he had with the county stoopidvisors about permitting, but the "racing" permit was never in question. The other revenue raising events the track owner was doing were the cause for all the complaints and legal issues brought up by the neighbors. Time to go racing! :steering::D

Not sure how much of the country has this problem. Our area is now fully invaded by the Spotted Lantern Fly. I saw this Ailanthus (Tree of Heaven, Chinese/Stinking Sumac) and was ready to go for the weed killer when I took a closer look…:wtf: A quick search online tells me to spray with Dawn soap. I noticed Keyword callouts on the article for my least favorite weed tree. Turns out it is these critters favorite! So, for now The few of these plants I found will get a reprieve so I can use them as a collection point to spray the Lantern Flies:thumbsup:

Took a break from sanding walls today. Little more garage organizing and pulled some weeds from front flower bed while ground is soft. Also made a qurun across the street to the discount grocery and got a couple cases of bottled water to put in freezer for Carlisle. Still don’t have anything else ready. Lol

Had them last year sprayed with 7.
It didn't seem to have any effect at first. But they did stop eating and vanished.
Guess they moved on, or starved.

Yeh, I haven't done anything else yet. Need to check my other trees. Acording to this list Maple is also a primary target and Black Walnut is on the list. Lots of both of those. Plus a Cherry tree at the back end of the neighbors lot. I do have a Pin Cherry near the house, but didn't notice any on it.

we get the Japanese beetles. They show up late June for a week or so. They like any plant or tree with a flower. Spray them a couple times a day with 7 and they move on.

They mostly eat up the rose bushes. They love Hops too, but I don't have them anymore. Just put out a trap for them the other day and there are hundreds in it already.

Neighbor up the road grows grapes...they love them.
