Has an attractant bait. They just fly in and can’t get out
There's a bunch of those at Andy's house. They like asparagus once it goes to seed but loves the raspberries that are producing now. I see a few in the garden. Thanks guys.

So, interesting. Almost all the debit machines in canada are down. Something to do with one of the phone networks(rogers).
Its a huge problem at the gas pumps. Not many millennials carry cash…

Panic in the streets

"We are currently experiencing an outage across our wireline and wireless networks and our technical teams are working hard to restore services as quickly as possible," said Rogers in a tweet shared shortly before 11:30 a.m. Eastern Time on Friday.

I find it hilarious that they sent out the explanation on a network and internet outage on Twitter..... (Think about that  )

Put them nearby what you are trying to protect, but not too close. Like 20+ ft away.

@Mattax View attachment 1715953036 View attachment 1715953035 Not sure how much of the country has this problem. Our area is now fully invaded by the Spotted Lantern Fly. I saw this Ailanthus (Tree of Heaven, Chinese/Stinking Sumac) and was ready to go for the weed killer when I took a closer look…:wtf: A quick search online tells me to spray with Dawn soap. I noticed Keyword callouts on the article for my least favorite weed tree. Turns out it is these critters favorite! So, for now The few of these plants I found will get a reprieve so I can use them as a collection point to spray the Lantern Flies:thumbsup:

It is native to India, China and Vietnam and probably arrived in a cut stone shipment in 2012. The first sighting was in 2014 in Berks County, Pennsylvania, on a tree of heaven — a common invasive tree brought to North America from China in the late 1700s.

Im calling it a day. Its 80 degrees, even hotter in the quonset. Got truck delivered, moved Mercury outside so owner can pick it up. Put chevelle in shop and moved shop crane in to shop as well. Cleaned up a spot and moved the Firebird so we can put it on stands and pull front suspension to rebuild. Then i finally hung the chain block on my gantry, was really hot 10 feet up in quonset. Lifting cabs and stuff will be way easier now.

Well I did go for my yearly.
Minus blood work.
I have to go to a lab. No one to draw it today.
Anyway.182lb.
Blood pressure 102 over 67.
Resting rate 71.
Wants me to go for a stress test and EKG.
Just for backup.

BP sounds LOW to me................
I thought so too.
I'm usually 110 over 70.
I did look it up. It's still in normal range, but close.
I am on a blood pressures med. Lowest dose possible.
Been on it for years as a precaution due to blood sugar and possibly kidney damage.
Since I have been off all the blood sugar meds since I dropped the weight. He did say that it may be time to go off that, but it could be a cause.
Still wants me to lose about 15 t0 20 more:rolleyes:

Mine is usually around 129/79. But....I did just get back from VN......

114/71 BP no meds heartbeat and respiration good enough to get classified in athlete category, and yet according to my insurance I am obese. As a result I have to pay a higher premium. Translated years of weight training keeps you healthy but a bit heavy. The whole process really irks me. North of sixty and literally the only med I take is a multi vitamin, but I have to pay high insurance because of BMI code. WTF

B M I of 24....
18% body fat.

I did hit pulse rate of 176 today on the ride. Didn't feel weird but was a bit outside my high end range

I'm also about 10 years or more younger than most of you

176 is cooking Boss! That is some serious hydraulics! I went for a ride today as well. Pretty sure my pulse rate didn’t get anywhere near that, although a Vette did blast by me and kind of startled me as I was cruising around 80ish! Hah! The only bike I will ride is one where I can twist the wrist! I just don’t look good in spandex! Hehehehe

LOL

You'll love it if you look into history further back.

The black death came west with the Golden Horde
I have gradually been learning Mandarin, still not very good but I learn a bit each month. I have always had a knack for learning languages so just decided to give it a try. Look at how fluent Mitch has become in such a short time in VN. All be it he clearly has alterior motives since his lady is smoking hot!

Long hair dictionaries make it easier.

Going on 5 years now learning Vietnamese. Think I have progressed to about a 4th grader...Couple more years should do it...

Oddly enough, since she speaks no English, she hasn't helped me much. Most is absorbed there by being emersed. I'm the only Tall, Handsome, White Guy around....

Yeah. We called it "Survival"... wait...I mean "Functional" immersion language training.

Nothing like having to for motivation. I find most places will work with you to get better....except Parisians and Spaniards....
