I was using 6013 3/32 to weld 1/8 wall square tubing.6011 is what we call farmer rod, burns thru rust and paint, white flux! 6010 for pipe red flux. 7018 for better strength needed applications gray flux but is picky about wanting clean metal. And if you are not handy it is difficult to run vertical. Bring back the memories?
Yep, sure does.....thanks...6011 is what we call farmer rod, burns thru rust and paint, white flux! 6010 for pipe red flux. 7018 for better strength needed applications gray flux but is picky about wanting clean metal. High travel speed required! 3/32 is the way to go on 1/8 material. You might grab a spare rod and beat the flux off of it and then use it as additional fill rod. Just dab it in when puddle gets to big. It both cools the puddle instantly and helps with not blowing out the 1/8 tube. Especially in the corners where the material heats up so quickly.I was using 6013 3/32 to weld 1/8 wall square tubing.

Sorry dunno, I've only seen the Vietnamese ones. Small cup with holes in the bottom, a flat press plate , and a lid. Bout 2" in diameter...What makes those different Mitch?
BTW - That Vietnamese ice coffee I get is just way too good...
That top clamp needs to go closer to the end of the hose. (but not to the end)
I have a video of one in Viet Nam in my phone , but cant post it, needs to be YouTube...Sorry dunno, I've only seen the Vietnamese ones. Small cup with holes in the bottom, a flat press plate , and a lid. Bout 2" in diameter...
Maybe more the filter further from the exhaust heat? IDK it might be OK there because it is in the air stream when the car is moving or fan is turning. I know thats close to factory but factory didn't have those headers. maybe a heat sheild under it?
That and the transmission flush...and since it's acting up now I might have to get at it sooner than later.
That looks like good stuff.
Just finished eye xray and MRI. Waiting on Doc
