Maybe more the filter further from the exhaust heat? IDK it might be OK there because it is in the air stream when the car is moving or fan is turning. I know thats close to factory but factory didn't have those headers. maybe a heat sheild under it?

Yeah, the Headers are wrapped FWIW... but some heat shield probably wouldn't hurt. I'll see what's what after I get the carb cleaned up. That might just resolve it all and needs to be done regardless. (it was on the punchlist). That and the transmission flush...and since it's acting up now I might have to get at it sooner than later.

Fuel line wrap for safety but also the help with vapor lock.

All caught up. Nope Chris dart will not be on my trailer to Carlisle....sorry Chris....

100 for a spot is still not a big deal....not after spending for fuel there and back...

Went to the doctor dry needling is like magic!! I have a Grade 2 hamstring pull.
No running or lifting for two weeks go back Friday for another treatment.
Went home told Cheryl no laundry baskets, no emptying the dishwasher, etc...
She wasn't amused and I won't repeat what she said ...my ears are burning!!
Any way all is good here now we just have to hear Eric's results.

Just finished eye xray and MRI. Waiting on Doc

Did some arc welding today, building a lifter for patio blocks. Aparrently i can’t stick weld..got better as i cranked up the heat. If you can’t weld good, weld lots!
Cant test it as its raining now. Dangit! Guess i will move on to modifying a battery storage rack. Only needs to hold 3 batteries. Keep em off my bench.

Stick welding really depends on what rod your using....I have not stick welded for so long I forget the rod to use.

6011 is what we call farmer rod, burns thru rust and paint, white flux! 6010 for pipe red flux. 7018 for better strength needed applications gray flux but is picky about wanting clean metal. And if you are not handy it is difficult to run vertical. Bring back the memories?
